Andi is really hot. I really wish I could go out with her, but I am too much of a shy boy to go out with her. Andi is what you call "popular." Popular in our school means that everybody knows you, and mostly everyone the opposite gender of you likes you. Well, most guys like Andi. She is so beautiful, bright blue eyes and dark brown wavy hair... Ugh she's perfect. Perfect teeth, perfect personality... Everything. I wish I could be with Andi. But she has a boyfriend, the most popular guy in our grade. Blake. Mostly every single girl likes Blake. I really wish I had a chance with her..

"Nicky!" I feel someone shaking me. I realize I spaced out. "Sorry," I say, noticing it is Bradley. Bradley has been my best friend since the first grade when I moved here. I used to live in Florida, now I live in New York. I look around, noticing we are in lunch. "What were you thinking about?" He asked me. "Oh, nothing," I say. "Andi?" He smirks. He got me. "Well, yeah," I laugh. "Don't worry Nicky, she'll like you one day."

My name is Nicky, last names don't really matter. I am 5'2, yeah, I'm short. I'm in seventh grade at Royson Oaks Middle School. I am thirteen years old. I have dark brown hair, and brown eyes. Oh, and I like to wear snapbacks a lot.

I have an older brother Tyler, another older brother Mason, and an older sister Zoe. I also have a step brother, Daniel. He is also older. I'm the only one in middle school. Tyler is a freshman, Mason is a junior, Zoe is a senior, and Daniel is a sophomore. I honestly don't know where my real dad went, my step-dad also left my mother, leaving his own son with us. Daniel has gotten into a state of depression, both of his parents gone. The only person he'll talk to to Mason. I don't even know what his voice sounds like. I have tried to talk to him, but all I hear is him crying in his room. I feel so bad for him.

Bradley is quite older then me, three months. Bradley is just like me. Brown hair, brown eyes. He also has a couple of freckles on his cheeks. I've known that kid for almost six years now. Bradley is like an older brother, very protective. He helps me when I need help the most, like trying to get a girlfriend, to helping me get over a fear. He is the best friend anyone could have.

I look up, and see Allie walking over. Oh no. "I've got your back," Bradley whispers in my ear. I'm saved.

"Hi Nicky," she tried to say in some sort of sexy way. Not working. Then, she did something I never thought she would do before. She sat on my lap, and tried to freaking grind on me. The hell? We are like twelve! I'm thirteen, I don't know about her. "What the hell, get off my friend." Bradley said, pushing her off.

"I know you like me Nicky, don't lie," she winked. "I really don't," I said still a little freaked out. I slid a little closer to Bradley. I feel more safe near him. She put a piece of notebook paper in my shirt. The hell? Is this chick crazy?

I took it out, it was her number. I ripped it up right in front of her face. "Ugh, whatever. You'll be jealous when I'm dating someone else." Allie says sassily. "I really won't be," I laugh, she flips her hair and walks away.

"I feel bad for you," Nicky says. "Don't worry, I won't EVER let you go," he joked, pretending we were a couple. "I won't ever let you leave me babe," I laughed.

Lunch was over, and it was time to go to forth period. Spanish. Ugh. Allie was in that class. Also, Andi was. That's the only thing I like about that class. I suck in Spanish. I hardly know anything. But today, hace frio. Hah. That's about all I know.

I feel a tap on my shoulder. I look up, and I can't believe it. It is Andi.
