***************************************"A'lia!" a voice shouted. "A'lia, where are you, dear?"
Somewhere in the forests of the hidden land of Widon Ike lived a young child in the midst of the Malikan Tribe; a tribe know for it's bond with the mystical, potent, and stalwart wolves; known for their friendship even with the untamable and feral beasts.
"Oh, please don't hide from mummy, love. Please come out."
*slight baby sounds in the background*
The mother of the well known Merrywaithe family went on with the trouble of looking for her child, unaware of her presence outside their cottage, sitting and playing on the baby mat made not by others but her hardworking self that had been layed out on the evenly cut grass for the child by her husband, chief of the Protectoring group of their tribe.
The mother, Alesia Merrywaithe, poked her head out to look outside, wishing her luck. Then she saw her. Her little baby playing with her toys, just about to bite one in her hand when she caught her, gasping, just in time.
"Oh, no you don't" She said, picking her up by the armpits. "That is dirty and that either stays on your hand or somewhere out of reach, preferably."
"Oh, hon. Just leave her be. She's a child, not a lady." Chief Zander Merrywaithe, father of the little family, spoke, one arm around his wife's slim waist while the other held infront of the child to say hi.
"Oh, shut it. She could get sick with the germs on these things." Alesia replied, face scrunched up in concern and annoyance.
"What's the point then of keeping all of them clean when you still speak of them dirty?"
Alesia's eyes narrowed, looking in front of her, away from her husband.
"And by the way, she knows nothing. It would be understandable if you scold her when she can actually think things." He started at her. "Isn't that right, my little Lia?" He finished up with a coo towards her daughter, a finger slightly tickling her stomach making her laugh.
He smiled at the sight.
Alesia left her husband staring after her as she went inside their home, his arm still up from playing with A'lia.
He looked at her with slight frustration, arm falling to his side, but still managed up a small smile, a contrast to what he just felt.
He knew that his wife easily got angered and doesn't like it when she lost a fight but what made him love her is how her loyalty and love towards him are completely immeasurable and true.
She might be the one who always started the arguments and leaves them to be how they are quite longer than he would like them to be but he loved how she'd always been there through hard times and even just the easy ones even when they are still fighting. He loved her for everything she was.
She was a fighter, and a great one at that. She was one of the best protectors and tamers in their tribe. She was known among the women for her strength and knowledge about the wolves, always being able to get their trust faster than the others.
She was offered the position to be chief of the protectors or tamers but she declined as soon as she knew that her husband was going to ask her hand in marrige. She couldn't bare the thought of having less time with her family. She didn't want her future children to be one of those who found love with their friends more than their own parents. She didn't like thinking of Zander feeling like he isn't receiving enough love from her and this warmed Zander's heart more than she ever had warmed him.
