A New Beginning(TamakixHaruhi)

Total embarrassment(Haruhi's p.o.v)

        I can not believe he brought out the box in front of them...How embarrassing. I have not seen this box since my first day of kindergarten. He handed me the box so I decided to open it. The first thing I saw when I opened the box was mom's scarf it was her favorite it still smelled of her favorite perfume. The next thing in the box was a small rag doll that we had bought at a convenience store. Than after that were a small candle, pink paperclips, a small journal, and than a letter I wrote to my future self. Oh no..."Whats in the envelope?"Tamaki asked.  I opened it only to see a drawing of me and my mom and dad and a weird looking guy in a suite. Then as I pulled it out further it said "When I get older I want to marry a prince and live in a huge castle" Oh my gosh how and why did I ever think like this. 

    "Awwwwww...how adorable" Tamaki added. "Haruhi was the sweetest child...she was always so kind to everybody "dad replied. Dad walked up to me and handed me a card. "Your mother would be proud to see how much you have grown as a person"he whispered. I open up the letter to read.

     "Dear Haruhi,

                My darling daughter, I love you so much. I know it might be early to even think about this but if you are reading this that means you have finished high school. I want you to know that I will always be proud of you no matter what you decide to do. I want you to be happy and not be afraid to pursue your dreams. Please make sure that you never lose sight of the things that make you, you

                                                 Love, Mom."

      I hand the note back to dad. " Thank you.... for showing me this."I whisper. He smiles and puts in the metal box.

     Not too long afterwards Kyoya and Tamaki leave. Whenever They were about to leave Tamaki gave me a small box.

    I opened to see a headband with a red rose. Its so beautiful I thought to myself. I decided to put it on and see what it looked like.

     "Just as beautiful...as your mom" dad responds. "Thanks" I said while fighting back the tears.

    I do not know what I am going to do after tonight. I think I might move out and get ready to go to college...but I do not know what I am going to study. I want to study law but will it make me happy.  I have to decide what I must do before school starts next semester.
