Stay another day// Caleb Logan

Hospital Rush

*Next Day*

It's 6:30 and Caleb had a headache so he went to sleep like half an hour ago.

"Hey Mia?" Annie asked.
"Yeah?"
"Where's Caleb?" She wondered
"Downstairs sleeping I think. I will see if he needs a drink" I said.
"I'll come!" Annie said
"Sure let's go. Mom we are going to check on Caleb!" I yelled.
"Ok!" She replied.

We ran to Caleb's room and knocked.
"Caleb? Are you awake." I asked
"Mia. Help me. Ouch." Caleb whispered.
I burst into the room to see Caleb on the floor in pain.
" Caleb!" Annie said as we ran to the bed.
I grabbed my twin's hand.
"Mom!!!!" I yelled panicking.
I heard footsteps and turned to see Hayley.
"Hayley stay back."I said
"Why?" She asked running forwards, "Caleb?!?!?"
I got out my phone. "9...1...1..." I said as I typed it in.

"911 what's your emergency?"
"Um... Ambulance please."
"What seems to be your problem ma'am?"
"M-My twin brother Caleb is in a lot of pain."
"Ok can you find out where it hurts for me please?"

I looked at Caleb. "Where's the pain?"
"My heart." He whispered.

" He says his heart hurts." I say to the lady, crying.
"Ok honey. And what is your adress?"
"It's ****** **** ***"
"Ok an ambulance is on its way. Please stay on the phone because we need information about him." The woman said: " we need his name, age and any known medical conditions."
"Ok his name is Caleb Logan, he is 13 years old and he doesn't have any medical conditions that we know of."
"Do we need to move him to the sofa or anything so you can get him easier?" I ask.
"Yes please sweetie but be very careful."
"Ok." I say. I look at Annie and say: "Can you help me get Caleb to the sitting room?" She nods and we try to lift him and walk with him. No use.
" Can I hand the phone to my sister?" I ask the woman, Caleb sitting on the bed.
"Of course."
I look at Annie. "Ok Annie what I am going to need you to do is talk to the nice lady on the phone so I can take him upstairs. When we go upstairs, follow me. Ok? All you have to do is follow me upstairs, give her any info she needs and Don't hang up." I say crying my eyes out.
"Ok." She replies.
I hand her the phone and pick up Caleb so that he is laying in my arms. I carry him, hearing sirens.
"Yes my name is Annie Leblanc and who you were talking to earlier was Mia Leblanc." I hear Annie say.

As we reach the living room, I lay Caleb on the sofa.
"Caleb. Are you still experiencing pain?" I ask and he nods.
"Mia, it hurts. So... so bad" Caleb whispers. I grab his hand.
"Mia why are paramedics here?" Mum asks before seeing Caleb.
"Billy!" Mum says to dad and he runs in.

The paramedics take Caleb and put him in the ambulance.

"Only 1 person can go with him in the ambulance."
"Mia you go and we will all follow behind."
"Can I Caleb? " I ask and he nods. "See y'all there" I say and get in the ambulance.
I grab his hand and cry.
