*Blaine's P.O.V. Tuesday*
As I stepped off the elevator I decided something that i've been thinking of for a couple of days now.
I made my way into my hotel room and walked over to my manager who was sat at the table in the kitchen.
"Hey Linda." I said as I walked up. "I have an idea. It's something i've wanted for a while and I think it will be good for me." I said as I walked up to her.
"What is it hun? Another new album? More signings? A longer tour?" She asked.
"Umm no. It's not money related." I replied.
"Then why could you possibly want it?" She laughed. I sighed and resisted the urge to roll my eyes. I loved Linda but she always thinks about money, nothing else.
"Well, i'd like to take a year or two off..." I trailed off. She just looked at me and blinked with uncertain eyes. I could see the panic behind them.
"Well whatever would you do for a couple of years?" She asked.
"Uhh, attend school. I know it seems silly but I haven't actually been to high school, always home-schooled. I want to feel normal for a change. I need to." I told her.
"What about your career?" She asked. I could tell that she was worried about her job.
"I'll still make music but i'd like to sing some stuff that i've written, not stuff that you've had written for me. I want to show the real me, not the fake one that you have created." I explained.
"Uhh, I don't know what to say. I don't think it's a good idea I mean-"
"I think it's a wonderful idea." someone said from behind me. I turned around to see who it was and came face to face with my mother.
"Mom! What are you doing here?" I said with a smile as I went up and hugged her.
"I came to see my son's concert of course. Now what's this idea of yours because I think it's wonderful." She said.
"But the fans, they'll be upset and then you won't be able to be normal, they're everywhere. You'll be bombarded by girls wherever you go I mean..." Linda babbled on.
"Well i'll ask them to treat me like normal. I'm sure they can respect that." I replied. There's nothing she can say that I haven't thought of.
"I think it's a great idea. He can live at home again for a bit and it'll be great." My mum said.
"Actually mom, i've been thinking of going to this school that's about an hour away from home. It's a great school and there's a great performing arts and music program." I explained. "It's called Waller Academy, owned by the Waller family. It's great." I added. I didn't mention that it's Ally's school.
Last night when I got back I did some major stalking online. First I googled small theatres and found one that is showing Romeo and Juliet and then I found schools nearby that theatre, one was an all boys school and the other was a mixed school, Waller Academy. I searched through their friends on Facebook and found Ally. Her profile picture is her and another girl named Marcy according to the tag.
"Well, I suppose that's okay. Where will you stay?" She asked.
"I don't know. I might rent out a little apartment or something." I replied. "I'll drive home at weekends."
"I still think this is a stupid idea." Linda said.
"Who pays you?" My mother asked her.
"You do mam."
"What do I pay you for?"
"To manage your son?"
"No, I pay you to make good decisions towards my son's future, not control him and shoot down any good ideas he may have. Oh and that thing about him not writing his own songs, that's got to stop. The album that made him famous was all him so I don't want any more of this nonsense." My mom explained.
"Yes mam, sorry mam." She replied with a nod. I chuckled a little at her scaredness.
"Now, i'm going to go call up that school and arrange everything." Mum said before she walked away into the spare room.
I smiled and looked at Linda. "Sorry." I said, but I wasn't really. I get to be normal, like Ally. I can be with Ally.
