Hailey POV
I live in a small place in Arizona, filled with the smell of old people, and familiar faces. Nothing new, or exciting to look forward to. So yes, like any other teenager does now a days, I sit in my room on my laptop on facebook, youtube, and twitter. I sit there looking at all of the beautiful places, the places where I belong. All I wanted was to leave, and enjoy the world.
But any ways, I'm 14 years old, I have long brown hair, hazel eyes, and I'm about 5'3. I dream of living by the ocean in California, and i'm obsessed with music.
¨I'm so done with this place, there's nothing here for me.¨ I yelled walking away from my dad. Today, was pretty shitty. I missed the bus, got lost on my way back from school, and to top it all off I fell face first into a muddy puddle in frount of my house and ruined my favorite shirt.
A couple of hours later I was laying in my bed when I heard a small knock on my door. ¨ Hey honey are you awake?¨ It was my mom.
¨Yeah, what's up?¨ I asked.
¨ I have some news for you.¨ She said with a half smile.
¨ As long as it wont make this day worse, I'm all ears.¨ I said sarcastically
¨ Were moving!¨ She said throwing her hands in the air.
I couldn't speak. I was completely speechless, but in a good way.
¨ Oh my god! Are you freaking serious?!¨ I managed to say.
She told my that we were moving to Virginia, which might not sound great to some people, but to me. It was music to my ears. She wouldn't tell me exactly where because it was a 'surprise'. I couldn't wait!
