Hailey's POV

¨ Hey there. My names Hailey.¨

¨ H hey, my names Matthew, but you can call me Matt.¨ he said with an adorable stutter in his voice.

I could feel my cheeks turning red. I couldn't help it, his voice was giving me butterflies.

As we made our way into my dining room, I could here my mom talking to his mom about how Matt and I would get a long with each other. She has a history of embarrassing my in front of cute guys. So, before she could ruin this, I interrupted the conversation..

¨ Hey mom, this is Matt.¨ I said pretty loud. I think I saw Matt jump from te corner of my eye.

¨ Well, aren't you handsome.¨ she said to Matt.

¨ Thank you, it's nice to meet you Mrs. Burke.¨ he said looking at me as if it was the wrong thing to say.

Before I could say anything else I could hear my obnoxious sisters running down the stairs as my dad called them for dinner. I could hear what the were whispering to each other as they came closer..

¨ Keep it quiet he's gonna hear you. Plus Hailey has a better chance than either of us. ¨ my 10 year old sister Emma said.

¨ I don't care Emma, he's so cute! ¨ my other little sister who was 8 years old, named Abbey said.

I was trying not to laugh at the comments they were making. They were clearly in love with Matt.

As we ate dinner Matt, and I were cracking jokes the whole time. His family was amazing, and I knew that they would get along great with mine.

Matt's POV

¨ H hey, my names Matthew, but you can call me Matt.¨ I stuttered.

Her voice have me goosebumps, and her name fit perfectly. I kept repeating her name in my head as we walked to the dining room.

I instantly snapped back into reality when Hailey yelled my name, it almost gave me a heart attack. When I thought things couldn't get any worse I heard a huge crash, and giggles instantly coming from behind me.

¨..he's so cute..¨ I heard one of them whisper.

I knew I wasn't the only one who heard it beacuase I could see Hailey trying to hold back her laughter. I let out a small laugh to show that she wasn't the only one who could hear them.

When we were eating, I was talking to Hailey non stop. I felt like I could just sit there and talk to her forever. This was amazing!

Later on, my parents were basically dragging me out of their house. It was almost 1 in the morning.

I couldn't wait for tomorrow so that I could see her again!
