Chapter 3-
Second star to the right
and straight on
till morning.
-Peter Pan.
Peter's POV-
Arabella... my Arabella.
The name smoothly rolls off my tongue, as if I've said it hundreds of times, many life times ago.I watch as she plops into the chair in front of her desk.
So many whispers and rumors circling my Arabella, when most of them don't even know her story. In fact, nobody does."Peter?" I hear someone say from right behind me, I quickly pull out my dagger and turn to whoever has trespassed my tree house and see Felix. He looks at me with wide eyes and I immediately stop from attacking and put my dagger back.
"Haven't I told you to knock?" I growl.
He ignores my question and looks at the hologram of Arabella.
"Is that her?" He asks as his eye brows furrow.
"Yes, and you boys are taking too long. I'm starting to think about going and getting her myself." I growl once again, glaring at Felix.
"So.. she's the one you pick? Pan, you have ten options. Maybe you should look at all of them." He says glancing at the ten orbs I have set up on my table.
"Don't you think I already have! I've looked at the orange, silver, red and pink orbs but none of them have intrigued me like this one has!" I yell looking down at the orb in my hand.
Every month, I get ten orbs. They represent children down on earth, from ages three to sixteen. (My age)
Each person is qualified to come to
Neverland. Which means they are either lonely, unloved, or fighting their inner demons.
But I only pick one to accompany me at my camp, as a lost boy. Not once have I ever picked a girl.
The colors of each orb represent the child's personality.Orange- mischievous
Silver- spiritual
Red- hot headed
Pink- kind, gentle, and soft.
Gold- hard-core believer
Black- evil
White- innocent
Grey- outcast
Yellow- lost
Lavender- curiousWhen I grab an orb and say,
"Ouvrir la livre" a hologram of the child pops up, it only lasts a few minutes, but it's just enough time to decide if I want to bring them to Neverland or not.
Each orb has only ONE color.
Arabella's was different though. Her orb is a mix of lavender, grey, yellow, gold, red, orange and strangely.. there was black dust orbiting around it,
As if she was becoming evil. No ones orb has ever been more than one color. Especially not seven colors out of ten.
That's what intrigued me.
And I will have her.
Peter Pan never fails.-----
I know this chapter is a bit confusing! But you'll get it along the way:) thanks for reading!
