I've always wondered how daddy felt about faith
Did he think about hell as he said his last goodbye?
And the funny part was he always wanted a baby girl
To love and cherish above all else
He got his wish and loved her to the fullest
And when the time came for her to give it back
She got caught up in trying to impress someone else
A figure meant to fill the void of his prolonged absence
So he took his love with him, when the pain grew too much
And now she sits in her room every day in silent horror
Because she will never know if she made a mistake
Or if she was the mistake.
