Trust is hard
Its scary
Its hard to give
Its hard to build
Its something if broken, its hard to give again
Its something that you hold so dear you're too scared to give
Yet when you give it people make it so easy to just give it up and shatter it
You try and keep it to yourself so you don't lose it
But there's a few people
A few that slip in.
And you give them some of that trust.
And you believe they won't hurt you
And you become friends
You resort to them when you need them
Yet as you all grow older
You seem to slowly grow apart.
And as you part ways
They take that trust with them
And when you need it most
That trust is gone
And you turn to yourself for the help
The help you so desperately needed from someone else
And its scary
Because you have no one to turn to
And you have no trust in yourself
And you're alone
And your trust is gone.
