I Promise You

2 Collision With A Stranger

       

I was laying in my bed. I knew that it would be the last time in my room. But I was very angry. I wanted to break something and I wanted to cry. So I took my pillow and I was hiding my face in it and screamed as loud as it was possible. But after a while my voice was broken and my screams where more like a whisper. The only thing I wanted was going to my parents. I was feeling so alone and misunderstood. Suddenly, there was a voice in my head which said, that I had to get outside of this house. Away from the place where so many things reminded me of my parents and our past. We didn't live such a long time here but because of my past in Arkansan, it was more my home than anywhere else. I stood up from my bed, wiping away my tears and run down to the entrance. I put on my shoes and closed the door behind me, after I was out of there.

I was sprinting into the dark forest at the backside of the house. I was running a long time and I didn't really remembered where I was. At the dark night everything looked exactly the same. I was turning me at all sides, but it was too dark. And then I was hearing the sounds of the wood. I was hearing knobs breaking and Owls shouting. I was very afraid and once more I began to run. But from one moment to another I was running into something and it cured me on the ground. I was ripping out with an oath and rubbing my head. And for one second I was forgetting, why I was sitting on the ground, till the something in front of me was grumbling. I was startling and I wasn't saying anything, before the something in front of me was speaking ,,Can't you pay attention?''. I opened my mouth because I wanted to protest ,,You could do the same, it's not only my fault.'', I was saying. ,,You're smaller than me, how could I see a dwarf?'' As it was saying that, I was getting very angry at the something ,,Dwarf? You're calling me a dwarf?'', I asked angrily. And it said: ,,Yes, you're right. You look more like a gremlin.''  After this barefaced answer I was shouting: ,,Who do you think you are? This is a cruel insult and I don't want to hear such things anymore from someone like you.'' Maybe I was a little overreacting, but it was such a good feeling to shout at the person in front of me and let my whole anger out. ,,I hope I never have to see you again in my whole life. Goodbye.'' I was turning around and walked out of the forest to my house. I didn't know how I did that, but I was very happy to get out of this dark place. I busy packed my bags for tomorrow and when I finished, I sat on my bed and I closed my eyes. I was nervous about the next day. What would expect me?
