As I awoke in this strange place. I put my left hand on the source of all this pain, my chest. I slowly arouse from the bed that I lay in and took time to observe my surroundings. The bedding was turquoise and looked very expensive. There were two separate windows to the far right of me and the door was to the left. The floor was laminated wooden planks. There was a built-in cupboard with a long mirror fastend onto the door.

I heard foot steps approaching the room and covered my head hiding from the person. I heard the door creak open as she walked toward me. I could hear that she wasn't that tall because her strides were very short. The foot steps stopped and I held my breath in hope of hearing her breathing so that I could tell her exact location in the room. I couldn't hear her breathing and figured that she left the room. I opened the blankets revealing my head and saw her standing next to me staring me deep in my eyes. She had soft blue eyes and didn't look older than 18 years old. Dark black hair and then she spoke with a seriousness in her voice.
"You have survived" she said as she left a bowl of clear water and left the room closing the door behind her. When she left I thought about what happened and all I could remember was the two needles landing in my chest and then blacking out other than that my memory was blank. I inspected the bowl of water that she left for me and decided to not drink it. I was dying of thirst but she could have added poison into the water and I was sceptical about trusting her.

I got out of bed and went directly toward the mirror. I removed my t-shirt to inspect the painful area. There wasn't any bruises except the places where the two needles penetrated my chest. Questions raced through my mind: What did the needles do to me, Who was this girl, What did she want with me, Why hasn't she killed me yet and the greatest question Where did she come from. I thought that I was alone on the planet but I guess there are more lifeforms out there. But where?

I put my t-shirt back on and walked toward the door turning the handle slowly as I didn't want to make any noise. I entered the hallway, it was a large hallway that spread on further than your eyes could see both left and right. I stepped out of the room and immediately I felt a breath cold air coming from behind me. I turned around only to see the girl standing behind me. I didn't even hear her approach me I thought to myself. "Hi, where am I" were the only words that escaped my lips at that moment. She looked at me in astonishment and jestered for me to follow her. This could be one of her traps I should stay vigilant I thought to myself as I followed her.

We passed over thirteen doors to my left and right. Each door looked the same, golden brown with a silver door knob. Surprisingly there were no windows. The walls were freshly painted cream and the roof had chandeliers even spaced apart from each other.

This girl gave me the creeps. We were walking together and she hasn't said one word. She just looked at me with a serious face and kept staring at me then turned her head to focus in front of her. I took the time to analyse her behaviour and her clothes. She had a black jacket with black tights on. Her shoes aren't your everyday shoes and didn't even have laces, I guess that they are some type of slip on's. Her black hair was tied back in a ponytail and she walked like a very important general in the army.

At last we reached the end of the corridor and she stopped, told me to wait for her here and entered the last door on the right. I felt vulnerable. I didn't know where I am and what I'm doing here. The door opened and she walked out then jestured me to enter. I entered unwillingly hoping that I am not walking to my death.

As I entered the room my jaw dropped. I was astonished by the beauty before me. The room had a homely feeling to it and looked very relaxing. It was painted a dark shade of turquoise and has one large rug covering the entire flooring in the room. To my left was a cupboard packed top to bottom with books of every sort. To my right there was a dining room table with only two chairs around it. On the walls are paintings of a man and all the paintings are of the same man.

I felt her touch my shoulder and immediately stopped. "Stop here" she said with authority. I stopped and asked her "Where am I". She nodded her head for me to focus in front of me. I turned my head and noticed a table in front of me. This wasn't here just now I thought to myself. Behind the table was a chair that was facing away from me. "His here master" she said in a low voice. Thr chair turned slowly and I got to see the man. "Thank you Astrid. You can leave now" the man said to the girl. She nodded and left. Once she closed the door the mans full attention was on me which gave me a feeling that he knows me. He smiled.

"I know you probably wondering where you are and what do we want with you right?"

"Well, uhm, yes" I said staring directly into his eyes.

"From what Astrid told me, she was acting in self defence" he said with some sarcasm in his voice.

"Self defence! She attacked me!" I yelled, anger built up inside of me.

"Calm down. We have no intention of hurting you."

"Then what do you want with me? I have to leave."

"Where are you off to?"

"A floating demon entered the motel room my friends and I have been staying in for the weekend. It took my bestfriend and told me that if I ever want to see him again that I should follow his instructions" I said as a tear formed in my eye.

"Oh, I know who you talking about" he said worried.

"What and who is he?" I asked.

"His name is Luke. Short for Lucifer. He is the god of hell. We first encountered him five years ago at our annual barnfire meeting. Halfway through the meet he appeared and took us as well as another group and placed us here."

"Where is 'here' exactly?" I asked.

"We are in the 6th dimension. Haven't you noticed that there aren't any other life forms here? Other than us and the other group on the edge of the world. Let me spare you the information because it's a long story and I can see that you are still exhausted and probably famished. Astrid!"

Astrid entered the room not long after being summoned.

"Yes sir?"

"Please take our guest here back to his room and let him rest. Then later you will take him to get something to eat and accompany him on a tour of the place."

"Yes sir."

"Astrid will be your guide. She will show you around and will answer your questions if needed. Now leave."

I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to leave. As we left the room and headed back to the room I woke up in I felt light headed and fainted.
