Ryder's POV:
I watched as Phoebe sat down at the table as she awkwardly places food on her plate.
"Phoebe, are you okay?" I asked. She looked up from her food and nodded.
"Yeah, just tired." She looks back down at her food and starts eating it. I look over at Matt who avoids eye contact with me, watching Phoebe like a hawk.
Just as I was about to say something, Arizona walks in with Ty and Violet. She feels the tension in the room.
"What's going on?" She asks.
"Nothing Zona," Phoebe replies,"we were waiting for you." Matt nods agreeing with her. Ari looks at me with a confused look. I shrugged my shoulders at her with a confused look.
"Okay."
Phoebe POV:
I could feel Matt's stare directly on my face. I tried ignoring him but I couldn't. I stood up and left the kitchen without saying where I was going. I went into the living room to find my phone.
"Phoenix are you okay?" I turn around to see Ryder.
"Yeah I am just worried about the test I have today," I lie. I find my phone and see that I have a text from Blake.
"Who is it?" He asks.
"Blake," I answer.
"What does he want this time?" I open the message.
Hey babe, do you want me to pick you up today? xx
Yeah I'm at Arizona house xx
Okay I'll be about 10minutes see you soon xx
See you xx
I look back up at my brother.
"Blake is coming to pick me up," I say.
"I thought I was taking you??"
"Yeah tomorrow, you also need to take Ty back to moms, I'll meet you at school." He nods.
"Can I ask you something?" I nod,"is there something going on between you and Matt?"
"No why?"
"Well, you were awkward at the table and he kept on staring at you." I sighed.
"He said he loved me after Tyler pushed us into the pool. I was awkward earlier because I knew he didn't mean it and it hurt me when he said it."
"Do you like him?"
"I don't know anymore, I have Blake now so I can't like him."
"You do like him Phoebe, I can tell."
"No I don't."
"You do sis just admit it."
"Fine I do like Matt but I also have a boyfriend who is his best friend and I don't want to break up with Blake just over a crush I have for Matt."
"Phoebe just do what you think is right I'll always stick by you as the overprotective brother I'm always am."
"Yeah, I should get ready now." Ryder hugs me.
"Love you Phoenix."
"Love you too Ry."
Matt's POV:
I watched Phoebe from across the table while everyone was eating. She kept on avoiding my glance. 'What did I do wrong to make her like this?' I thought. My thoughts were interrupted when Phoebe left the room.
Ari and Ryder looked at me with a 'what did you do?' look. "I didn't do anything guys," I say. They both nodded.
"Yeah right," Ryder said as he left the kitchen. I looked over at Ari who shook her head at me.
"What!?"
"What happened Matt?" She asked.
"Nothing."
"I know what happened." Tyler says.
"What happened Tyler?" Ari asked him.
"I saw Matt and Phoebe about to kiss so I pushed them into the pool where Matt said I love you to her before she got out the pool and ran away," he explained,"Matt really hurt my sisters feelings." Arizona looked over at me.
"Tyler, can you take Violet and go into the living room for me?" Tyler nod.
"Come on Violet." When they left, Arizona sits across from me.
"Matt, why did you say that to her?"
"I don't know," I replied," it just came out."
"No it didn't Matthew, you love her don't you?" I nodded.
"I do but she doesn't like me like that, she is dating Blake Hemmings." Ari stands up.
"When did she start dating Blake?" I looked at her confused.
"I thought Phoebe told you about Blake?"
"No, she didn't, Ryder only just told me this morning about them two."
"Well they started dating about 7 months ago," I said,"every time I see them together I get jealous. I need to be with her Ari." I stood up and approached my sister.
"I want you guys to be together too but you are going to have to let Phoebe be happy and if that's with Blake then let her go."
"I can't Ari, I just can't." I walked out of the kitchen to find Phoebe. I went into the living room to see Ryder looking out the window with Tyler.
"Where's Phoebe?" I asked. They both turn around to face me.
"Outside," Tyler says. I nod at them and leave the room. I open the front door to see Phoebe and Blake kissing against Blake's car. I wish that was me kissing those gorgeous lips instead of him.
They both looked over at me. Blake smiled while Phoebe frowned. I smiled back and watched as they got into the car and drove away.
