Laney's p.o.v

It had been three weeks of bliss. Going to the park. Walking in the sun. No sebastian appeared in sight. It was like all his demonds was gone.

It was the happiest we had been. Cuddling up to each other and watching the sunset. Going for walks in the middle of the night.

He had no attacks. No arguments. Just us and no one else. I introduced him to my mother who loved him completely. And let him stay over most of the time.

"I'm taking you somewhere special tonight" he said. Kissing my forehead. "So dress nicely" he giggled.

I smiled as I pulled away from him "okay I'll get into the shower" I gave him a kiss on the cheek and ran into my private bathroom.

In the shower I thought about all the possibilities of the night. Where he was taking me. If it was an expensive restaurant.

After getting out of the shower I done my makeup while dancing around to my music. Making my eyeliner a bit wonky but still presentable, I then found a nice dress to put on which I had been waiting all year to wear.

I then dried my hair and curled it. My hair was now red curls. My eye colour showing through the makeup. I smiled at how happy I was. How last year I thought I wouldn't make it to 18
Happy.

But here I am now. Feeling like my life was complete. I walked out of the bathroom to find johnathan sat on the edge of my bed. Staring at the floor, looking very pale.

"What's wrong?" I asked. Dropping to my knees at his side.

"I have to go back. Clary and Jace are in trouble" he whispered. Not looking at me.

My heart sunk. Everything I thought would happen with us went straight down the drain.

I felt nauseated by the thought of him leaving me and wanted to throw up my lunch. But I knew it wasn't the right time to be selfish. I need to support him.

"How did you find out?" I asked. Holding back tears.

"They contacted me through the mirror. Saying they were trapped in a demonds world. That they needed someone to save them. That they couldn't do it alone. Clary looked so scared. I said yes" he sighed.

There was a long moment of silence between us.

"Go" I whispered. So quietly I couldn't here it myself.

"What?"

"Go"

"Is can't leave you" he said "ic can't loose you again.

"I'll be right here waiting for you. I'm not going anywhere" I said. The nausea hit me harder this time.

"I love you" he whispered. And kissed me lightly. I felt his tears stroll down his face.

"I love you too johnathan"

He lifted up from the edge of the bed and stepped in front of the mirror. He chanted his words.

I stood and watched his body drop. The black smoke being swallowed into the mirror again.

Todd's natural hair colour came through then along with his eye colour.

And I was back to the start. Broken hearted all over again. Pain in my chest and nausea controlling my body. I stood there shaking. Hoping for johnathan to come back.

A/N

hey guys. It's been awhile. So this story has a couple of chapters left (over ten though) so you'll have enough to read aha.

So college is stressing me out but I'm back to my normal self. It took me awhile but with support I got there.
