Basic Change is when the Undertale theme is flipped, changed, or modified while still having the basic plot to the story in some way. Most of these AU'S have there own versions of characters that follow a specific theme;

Belieftale
(I do not know enough about this AU for a description, but here are the search results);

Blighttale
(In a country called Undera, the humans were turned into monsters when a terrible plague, known as blight, swept through the land. The rest of human kind sealed a barrier around Undera so that they wouldn't get the illness too) [If you want to know the full story, there is a person on Undertale Amino who published it.
