The dark unknowing of what was going to happen next,

should I dare,

should I wish,

should I try.

I leap into the depths of unknowing, no reason to hope anymore if I will make it out alive,

I faced trial,

I faced hunger,

& heartache,

but one thing I do know for sure I survived the great unknowing with only scrapes and bruises.

and hope is was pushed me through,

I survived.
