During this time, me and Addy began to drift away. As if all the things we have been through suddenly never happened. It was all forgotten.

To say that I missed him was an under-statement. I would wait all day just to get a text from him. Even if it was just a stupid 'hi'. I kept my hopes up when I shouldn't have. He seemed really happy with Brooklyn and I would never get in the way of their relationship. Never.

Everyone told me that I was, "way better" but I knew I never had a change with him in the first place. So..that's why I sopped trying. I didn't want to get in the way of what they had.

You're probably wondering if I ever met Brooklyn. Well, as you know, she went to a private school and I went to a Public one. So no, I never saw her on a daily basis. Although, I did get to meet her. It was a school dance. I went with one of my close friends..

____

I grew up with this girl named (for the sake of privacy) Riley. Riley was one of my best friends as a kid. We first met in 2nd grade. She was neighbors with 2 other girls who I grew close with back then. We would always meet up on the best. It was the best times of my life back then. If only things would have stayed the same. One is now transgender, and the other smokes weed in Florida...Just goes to show how time changes all tings. Except, me and Kali. We are both the same ol' girls we used to be. (New and improved of course).

Riley went to school with me up until 8th grade, when she moved to another school. The crazy part was..she never told any of her friends, not even me, that she was leaving. She was very conservative like me back then. Long story short, we became best friends when I first moved to my new house, like I talked about earlier. We now live less than 5 min away. Crazy huh.

____

Riley. We were both so exited to go. The only reason I asked her was because I knew she was unhappy at her new school. She didn't have many friends and I wanted her to see her friends at HHS. She was so happy when I asked. You should have seen the look on her face.

She knew everything about me and Addy AND Brooke. She even knew that we would be seeing them both at the dance. That's what made her most exited.

Although, when we did get there, I was so thrilled. I saw my friends, And especially, Addy. I was so happy to see him again. Just being around him lifted my spirits. As if life was perfect ..AND IT WAS. Or...at least for a slip second. As me and Addy began to talk, I see a girl. A girl that wasn't me. She gave me this look and at that moment, I knew who it was. Brooklyn.
