America’s Diary #83: Dear Davie, today we saw dozens of ships arrive onto the shore. Me and General Washington checked out the boats. We knew they weren’t british ships because of the flag. A strange man walked out of the ships, greeting me and Washington. He had a strange face when he greeted me. He even gave me a kiss on the cheek, calling it french tradition. I feel like he is lying.
