What if I cant forget you? (Vic Fuentes Love story)

The crowd’s roars filled my ears. My heart started racing as I looked to see hundreds of faces in front of me.  Most of them screaming my bands name, which was “Your Red Lies.” I grabbed the microphone and started belting out the one of our songs.

You gotta nasty little side of you that's new to me

I wish I knew the signs were on the wall for all to see

A penny for your thoughts, a dollar for a rational one

You never see the glass is anything but empty

So make your move I dare you

If this is sugar then it's not so sweet

By the end of the song I was dripping with sweat and my voice was sore. The crowd roared once again and we left the stage.  The whole band joined together in a group hug. I looked at each of their faces and smiled. Jake was our guitarist and happened to be my best friend. I met him in 9th grade and ever since we’ve been super close. Nicky was our bassist. He moved to my here during senior year and we welcomed him with open arms. Finally Tyler played the drums. He was more of Jake’s friend in the beginning but we soon became close.

We walked to the bus together, occasionally taking pictures and signing stuff with fans. When we got to the bus we noticed one parked right next to us. A tan skinned man with long hair and a nose piercing came out of the bus. He looked up from his phone and smiled.

“Hi I’m Vic, uh sorry if our bus is a little close we can move it if you like.”  He stuttered.

“No it’s fine. You’re the lead singer of Pierce the Veil right?” Jake asked

“Yeah, and you guys must be your red lies. I saw you guys play earlier. You guys are amazing, it’s nice to see more great female fronted bands at warped.”

Vic reached his hand out and I shook it. I looked into his eyes. They were a dark chocolate brown, I swear I could get lost in them.

“I-I’m Kat” I nearly choked out.

Vic’s jaw dropped when he looked at me. Did my lipstick get on my teeth? Nicky pretended to do a fake cough and Vic snapped out of it. Two more boys ran out of the bus chasing each other.

“JAMIE GIVE ME MY HAT” the taller one of the two yelled.

Tyler and Nicky began to laugh while Vic sighed.

“That’s Jamie and Mike. Jamie’s our bassist and Mike’s our drummer. Mike also happens to be my brother. I’m gonna go help Mike now. It was nice meeting you all.”

Vic smiled at me before turning to run after Mike and Jamie. Vic seemed pretty nice, but I still wondered why he was looking at me like that. I looked in the bathroom for any lipstick on my teeth or if I had anything on my face. Everything seemed to be fine.

Did he think I was pretty?
