Chapter 2
Ara’s POV
I was walking through the schools hallways. My last day here. My graduation is in a few days. I know some seniors can’t wait to get out and leave this place, but I like school and I like this town. This town held memories. My memories. With my friends and my family. All the memories we made at school. All that will be gone and the only last reminisce would be a yearbook. I couldn’t help but feel sad. Derrick and I will stay together but Dawn will be left behind. She is only a junior right now.
I don’t want to leave her, especially if I’m going to fix Derricks and Dawns relationship. I could see she’s sad. She said she isn’t even going to the graduation party. I thought she would be happy, but she’s not. I fear she feels left out. Like we are intentionally leaving her out. Derrick and I both told her that we would take a year before we go to college just to wait for her. Even that didn’t brighten up her spirits. She’s been down lately and I don’t know what’s wrong. I feel as if I did something to upset her. Did I? I sure hope not. I mean I love her for god sakes.
As I walked through the hallway, I passed the office. I saw this man in there. Though I didn’t see his face I knew that he would be handsome. He had sandy-blonde hair that flipped to the side but had little curls toward the end. He was tall, very tall and super built. His shirt was so tight on his chest. It looked like if he flexed even an ounce of muscle, the shirt would rip. By his posture I knew he was a confident guy. He held his shoulders up and his head up high.
I didn’t realize I had stopped, until a kid had run into me. It was Beki the office intern. She held a big stack of papers that now littered the floor.
“Oh, I am so sorry Beki! I didn’t mean to I swear!” I said frantically. I didn’t want her to yell at me and cause attention to be drawn to us.
“Oh, its fine, don’t worry about It.” she said calmly.
“Here let me help you with those.” I offered. I bent down and helped her pick the papers up. “Do you need help carrying them?” I asked.
“Yes please, that would be super helpful,” she said gratefully.
“Where are they to go?” I asked.
“Oh, just the office. It’s all the new student registration forms,” she explained.
“Oh, okay.” I said. I really didn’t want to go in there. I know I would make a full out of myself.
But reluctantly I walked in there with the papers. As soon as I even opened the door, I smelled a sweet aroma and the mans head whipped to my direction. I was right he was absolutely perfect. I didn’t think such looks exsisted. I mean…. Wow.
Beki tugged on my elbow and lead me to the back to help file the forms. I smell was amazing. Nothing else like it. His eyes were perfect, they looked like almost blue, but sometimes they would be brown. His face looks like a photo shopped picture of Ian Somerhalder, but way better looking. And that’s saying something.
Beki and I finished our filing and I walked out in the main room. Janice, the receptionist motioned me over.
“Ara, would you be so kind as to give Sam here a tour of the school?”, she asked.
“Yeah, are you a new student?”, I asked him.
“No. I did cyber the whole year and since I graduated, my mother wants me to take a tour of the school and learn the graduation info.”, he said. His voice was deep but not to deep where it was hard to understand him.
“Oh, ok.”, I said. “So your graduating this year?”, I asked him.
“yeah.”, he said.
“Well let me show you around”, I said. I looped my arm with his and instantly felt sparks, as I took him to the tour.

Sam's POV
My mother is making me celebrate my stupid graduation at the stupid high school, even though I’m cyber schooled. And to make matters worse, the receptionist here is so slow. She’s processing my graduation forms, but it’s talking forever. My mom said it would take 10 minutes tops, and then I would take the stupid tour. I don’t know why she wants me to take the tour. She said something about me seeing what I missed; hah I don’t give a shit. I hate school, and people.
I was too busy daydreaming while the lady droned on and on, to notice the girl staring at me. I heard a commotion outside, but I didn’t think anything of it. Then the door opened, and that smell was the most amazing smell I’ve ever smelled in my life. I mean it smelled like…. Heaven. I was practically drooling. Then I had the common sense to look to see who the smell belonged to. When I looked up I saw the most amazing eyes looking back at me. She was sniffing to; she looked like she was in a state of serenity. She looked at me with such wonder and longing. She was the dragged away by a girl I didn’t notice was in front of her.
They walked into the back room. After what seemed like forever, they finally came out. And then that dumb old receptionist finally did something right for a change.
“Ara, would you be as kind as to give Sam here a tour of the school?” she said.
I was just about to jump in the air a fist pump like they do in those old cheesy movies. Her name was amazing… Ara. It was perfect. The very definition of perfection.
“Yeah, are you a new student?”, she asked me.
“No. I did cyber the whole year and since I graduated, my mother wants me to take a tour of the school and learn the graduation info.” I said back. Oh, she sounded like a beautiful melody. Beautiful.
“Oh, ok. So you’re graduating this year? “She said.
“Yeah.”, I said. I was so scared I would fuck things up. I was literally sweating. Gross.
“Well let me show you around.”, she said. She then did something completely bizarre. She looped her arm with mine. She dragged me around. I could tell she was a hyper person, or she’s nervous.
I couldn’t stop staring at her the whole entire time. She literally had white hair, purple eyes, and beautiful flawless skin. She was perfect! There’s something about this girl. And there was a voice in my head screaming MATE!!!!!!!!!! And another screaming BELOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so new to me…. I will find out more about this girl.
