I wake up to a strong smell, it smelled like lavender. I slowly open my eyes and I'm instantly blinded by the sun. Ouch! Jeez that's bright! I slowly open my eyes once more, I let my eyes adjust to the light before I open them fully. I sit up and look all around me. I'm in a small clearing in the middle of a field of wild lavender. I slowly look around me and I see a beautiful house in the distance.

Just as I thought this was paradise, I feel something move on my hip. I look down horrified, and I see a hand on my waist. My gaze follows alongside the arm connect to the hand and it reaches a beautiful man's face. Slowly, I regain bits of pieces of my memory. His name is Alex, he is supposably my mate. I look at his face in the sunlight and I memorize is every curve and shape. He looks so peaceful whenever he is sleeping. I look a little closer at his face and see really dark bags under his eyes.

Just as I look at his face a little closer, his eyes open. His eyes are bloodshot and they look extremely tired. In shock, I ask what happened to him. He doesn't answer right away, which tells me it must have been serious. He then tells me that he got into a major fight with his beta and third in command. I ask why and his face turns a blood red. He nearly tells, "I got angry with them because they poisoned you with that stupid shit that no werewolf should ever have to feel!" He growls lowly to reveal to me his strong anger.

Moments pass and he is calm once more.  He wraps his arms around my waist and apologizes for getting angery. I forgive him and stroke his hair. You may ask, why are you getting so close to him when you guys are basically strangers, well...My answer to that is: when the alpha of the pack is your mate and he is a hell of a lot taller than you, you have no choice. To be honest, I was scared of him.

He told me that I was in the state of Minnesota, in a private piece of land that no human knew about, well except the pizza delivery guy.  Alex tells me that we are isolated, on forbidden lands of the moon goddess. I stop breathing for a second. Forbidden lands of the moon goddess? I know this place?! In amazement, I whisper, "We are in the lands of Tibria."
