a tear rolled down my check
a laugh escaped his mouth
his friends rolled there eyes laughing
all but one
there was no humor in his dark eyes
i sat on my knees
my hands splayed out infront of me
i looked at them confused
they told a story to me
i watched as a young girl clambered on the bus she was all arms and legs and she had freckles speckling her nose and checks she had dark curly red hair and light blue eyes
she looked at the other students on the bus
she smiled
everyone burst out laughing
she was confused you could see that clearly written on her face
she looked behind her trying to see what she was missing
they laughed harder
they wear laughing at her
all but one boy with light with light green eyes in the second row by the window
he looked at her and she felt safe
protected
like those other kids weren't even there
she looked away from her hands
a burning tear slid down hear check
she looked up at his face
he laughed harder this time
his light green eyes peircing he aching soul
