She's pregnant

"I'm pregnant!!" Lucy declared to her husband.

"What?! that's- that's- that is the best announcement I have ever heard of!!" Lucy's husband Paul said back.

"I am sooo happy!! My day can't get any better!! We have to tell the family !!!"

"Yes let's go!"

"WHAT!? Oh my god- my daughter-in-law is pregnant!!" This is the happiest news I have heard of in SUCH a long!! Does everyone else know?"

"Yes they know." Lucy answered back.

"We have to celebrate!! How long has it been since you've been pregnant?"

"The doctor said it has been a month but I found out now. "

"That's great news!!! Just 8 months left !! I will be counting every single day!!"

It has been 3 weeks since Lucy told the news to everyone . Everyone has gone out to enjoy their night but Lucy and her husband Paul stayed home because they decided to stay home and enjoy at home.

"Remember when you came to this house in your wedding dress? Well I want you to wear that again today so we can refresh our memories and enjoy what the future is bringing us!"

"Lucy !!!" Paul exclaimed

"Lucy are you ok ?? Get up Lucy ! Get up!!"

Paul went to get some water from the kitchen so he could put some on her. When he came back Lucy was breathing really heavily. So he decided to take her to the hospital immediately.

"I'm coming to get you Lucy ! You can't escape from me! Here I come !"

"No Paul you're wrong!!" Lucy shouted while running in the huge house. "You can't get me !" Lucy shouted while looking forward towards the stairs as she was going down.

"Aahhhh!" Lucy exclaimed as she slipped down the stairs and fell flat on the floor.

"Excuse me sir.." the doctor called Paul taking him away from his thoughts and gesturing him to come near him so he could say something.

"I'm sorry sir. We saved your wife but we couldn't save your child."

"What? No that can't happen! She was only a month and three weeks old pregnant!" This is my first child! Something has to happen! Do something doctor!"

"I'm sorry sir. We can't do anything to save the child. It's gone... sorry sir."

Paul slid down the wall slowly and started to cry. He decided to not tell Lucy just yet because she was already in the hospital he didn't want to give her a heart attack.

"Hey Lucy." Paul said to her. "How's it going? Are you ok? Feeling a bit better? What a...."

"Paul ... what did the doctor say to you and why were you crying?"

"What? Crying ? I wasn't crying, why would you think that?

"I can see your puffy eyes. I'm not blind."

"Lucy. the doctor- he said— he said... "

"Get to the god damn point Paul!"

"THE BABY IS DEAD!! OUR BABY IS GONE!! HE'S NO LONGER ALIVE!"

"What? That can't happen! That's not true! You're lying to me aren't you? There must be some sort of mistake!

"I'M NOT LYING LUCY ! THE BABY IS ACTUALLY DEAD! HE'S GONE!

"NO!" Lucy started sobbing and she fainted.

"Lucy— Lucy — Lucy wake up god damn it! Doctor! Someone get the doctor! Get the doctor!
