Sabrina and Maria went upstairs to Sabrina's room. Sabrina and Maria each changed into their nightgowns, and Sabrina lay a sleeping bag on the floor. But Maria noticed that something was wrong.
"Sabrina, where's your amulet?" Maria asked.
Sabrina looked down at her chest and noticed that her amulet was missing. "My amulet!" she gasped. "But I didn't take it off."
"Let me help you find it," Maria offered.
The two girls looked around for Sabrina's amulet.
"It's not in here," Sabrina panicked.
"Let's check downstairs," Maria suggested.
The girls ran downstairs and into the parlor, and they looked for the Amulet. Suddenly, Hugo, Axel, and Mateo came in.
"Maria, what's going on?" Mateo asked.
"Papa?" Maria jumped.
"Sabrina, I thought you were in bed," Hugo declared.
"But, Daddy, my amulet is gone," Sabrina declared.
"Gone?" Hugo asked. He noticed that Sabrina wasn't wearing her amulet.
"We were just about to hit the hay, and then Maria pointed out that my amulet is gone," Sabrina yawned.
"Don't worry, sweetie—I'll tell your mother, and we can find that Amulet," Hugo told his daughter. "Right now, you've gotta get to sleep."
"Okay," Sabrina nodded. She hugged and kissed her father and uncle.
"Buenas noches, mija," Mateo smiled, hugging his daughter.
Sabrina and Maria went back upstairs to get some sleep.
