I felt as though I could see through his soul like I've known him for a thousand years.
Until we realized no one was at the party anymore. But even though I saw Sparks and fireworks, I knew in the back of my head something was wrong.
"Duke"
"Ya"
"I'm scared"
"Why? Are you okay, I'm sorry I shouldn't have done tha-
"No there was nothing wrong with the kiss,I loved it." He smiled I smiled back.
"But, I just feel as we're being watched can we go inside please?"
"Sure Emily, come on" he took my hand and led me inside the house and shut the door.
"Duke I'm scared of something, can I sleep here?"
"Um yeah sure stay right here, I'll be right back."
He came back with a towel which he instantly wrapped around my shivering self.
"When your done drying off you'll need these pajamas. They were my older sister's when she was about your age so I think these should fit, if you need me I'll be upstairs."
I dried off and put the PJs on, they fit like a glove. I went upstairs and caught Duke taking off his shirt through the crack of the door. And put on an old looking t-shirt that said Kurt Cobain on it. Vintage I love vintage. Just like I love him. Oh dear I'm acting like a perv.
"Duke" He jumped up and looked startled.
"I love you" I jumped in bed next to him, my head against his warm chest.
He looked down at me. "I love you to" with that he kissed my forehead wrapped his arms around me and i quickly fell asleep.
But unlike most love struck girls, I didn't dream about gum drops, and marriage.
I dreamt about Death.
