Cast of Characters
Iero Way: A girl that looks an awful lot like Phillipa Soo. She loves Hamilton and art. She loves to paint things and hang them up in her room.
Mel Terrnie: Mel is a female who was never noticed. She is always there, but not seen. She has no friends and lives a lonely life.
Centari Erri:A bubbly girl who gets along with almost everyone. She loves hugs and hanging out with friends. She loves anime and is quite silly sometimes.
Kai: He was once an outgoing boy, but being captured by Mel has changed him. He is now quieter than before, unless Mel asks him to be more emotional. (or so it seems)

Setting: Classroom;afternoon. All desks are filled except for one in the front of the room, near the teacher's desk.
At Rise: A new student walks in through the door.
IERO
(enters classroom, slightly lost) Excuse me, is this theatre class with Ms. Waiero?
MS. WAIERO
Yes. Who are you?
IERO
My name is Iero Way. I'm new here?
MS. WAIERO
Alright then. Have a seat.
IERO
(walks towards empty desk and sits down.)
MS. WAIERO
Okay, class. Today we will begin our play writing unit. You can do it on the laptop or write it down, that's up to you. It must be at least fifteen pages long.Of course, it can be longer than fifteen pages if you wish. You may write about whatever you like, as long as it's semi-appropriate. I have provided you with a template, which you can find on the class website. Any questions? (no response) Okay. Get to work,then.
CENTARI
Mel! Did you see Mark's new video?!?
MEL
No, not yet. How was it?
CENTARI
It was so funny! Ugh, I love hi- (Iero cuts her off)
IERO
Who's Mark? Is he cute? Ugh, there were so many cute guys back in Ohio.
CENTARI
(Clearly interested) You're from Ohio?!? That's so cool! What part of Ohio?
IERO
Colombus.
MEL
I'm from Ohio, too. I told you that when we first met, remember, Centari?
CENTARI
Oh really? I don't remember that. Whoops. Anyway, why'd you move here, Iero?
IERO
My parents thought it would be a nice change of scenery. It's nice, but I miss all my friends back home. We had so much fun together. I even had to break up with my boyfriend because he said he couldn't do long distance. Ugh.
CENTARI
Awh. Well, I'm here if you ever need anything, and Mel is too. Right, Mel?
