Chapter 4 - This was a bad idea

Kate POV:

I pulled up to Nathan's fancy ass house. It was big, he was rich of course but he didn't show it off surprisingly. Nathan wasn't a bad guy, he didn't seem like it anyways. I just wanted him to know if he hurts my best friend though, he will be in trouble that's for sure.

As I got out of my car, I slowly made my way to the door. Was this a good idea? Will I regret doing this? Should I turn around and go home. No I thought I need to do this for Summer. When I got to the door, I rang the door bell. Which made a fancy loud ring through out the house. It toke a few minutes till a lady with short brown hair had answered the door. It must be his mom, she was older, also had his eyes and face shape.

"Hello, can I help you hun?" she said with a warm smile.

"I'm sorry to bother you, But is Nathan around?" I said smiling back.

" Oh hun, no bother! He is just up stairs, I can get him for you! Come inside." She said holding the door opening and shutting it quietly behind me. "you must be the one he has been talking about? What's your name hun?" His mom was very friendly, and she made you feel welcome. The house was gorgeous, it honestly looked like a Kardashian designed it. It was amazing. With the marble floor and big stair set of staircase at the front entrance.

" Oh, He probably doesn't talk about me." I laughed nervously. " my name is Kate"

" Oh well, its nice to meet you Kate, my name is Sara." She said smiling. " I'll be right back, I'll go get Nathan for you."

"Thank you" I said smiling. It toke a bit for him to come. Probably cause he wondering why I came here to see him. I had only meet him once at his party but we never really talked. When he came down the stairs, confusion was written all of his face.

"hey Kate, what are you doing here?" he said awkwardly.

" I'm here to talk to you about Summer." I said in a serious tone.

"What about her?" He said rubbing the back of his neck.

" I want you to know something and I want to make it clear. If you hurt her, you will regret doing that." I said stepping closer to him and poking him in the chest with my finger.

" I see she told you are plan..." He laughed.

" yes, she did, I frankly don't like it though. Cause I don't want to see her get hurt." I said in a clear voice.

"Were just pretending to date. You don't have to worry." He said smirking.

"That's the thing... what happens if she gets feelings." I said quietly.

"That's crazy! Why would she" he said throwing his arms up in the air.

"Because she's never had a boyfriend." I said it all to quick, shit, I wish I never had said that.

" What your lying!" he said shocked.

I put my hands over my face. This. was. a. bad. idea. I shouldn't have come here. "Um, I'm not. that's the thing, she hasn't experienced any of this. She may take it seriously but not mean too." I said with a sigh.

"I don't think she will. It will all be fine." He said looking everywhere but me. "I won't hurt her"

" Okay, you better not." I said rising my eyebrows. " I'll leave now, I just needed to say that. Don't repeat this conversation to anyone. Good Night." I said turning around and walking out the front door before he could say anything.
