Mr. Do paced in his study. He just got word from one of his men that his target had escaped. Escaped. As if it was believable that a 5-year-old boy was able to avoid capture from his best -- not to mention armed -- men.

"Fools!" He picked up the nearest object he could find and threw it against the wall, satisfied when he heard it shatter. Years and years of planning, of preparing for this day only to have it blow up on his face all because his men were too soft to abduct a toddler.

Mr. Do sighed and massaged his temples. The more he thought about his men's incompetence, the more his head hurt. And it did not help for someone of his genius to have a less-than-fully functioning brain. No, it did not help at all. Not when there was still damage to be repaired and bigger plans to be put into action.

He took a deep breath and tried to relax. This was just a minor setback. His plans did not entirely fail. The child merely escaped, probably hiding in a corner, crying for his mommy.

At that moment, there was a soft knock on the door. "Daddy?" a tiny voice said, hesitant at first. "Can I-" there was a pause. "Can I come in?"

Mr. Do strode towards the door, opened it and grinned at the sight of his son. "Just the boy I wanted to see. Come here, son." He bent down and scooped up his little son in his arms.

The little boy was surprised, to say the least. This was the first time his father showed any sign of affection towards him and it was unnerving -- if not downright unsettling -- especially when his father was still wearing that grin on his face.

"Son, when you grow up, you will do great things," his father was saying with a manic glint in his eyes, "and you will make me proud. But first." He carried his son inside the room and set him on the couch.

The little boy watched as his father rummaged through his drawer, searching for something he knows not of. He hoped it was a toy they could play with, or a storybook so his father could read him bedtime stories. Heaven knows how much the little boy has dreamed of the day where his father would become a father to him.

Mr. Do let out a sound of triumph as he found what he was looking for. He went over to where his son was sitting and knelt down so they were of the same height. "Son, you haven't done anything and I'm already so proud of you." A pause. The boy looked into his father's eye, feeling a bit uncomfortable but also overwhelmed of how much attention his father was giving him.  Mr. Do continued, "But I would be even more proud of you if you did me a favor. Just a tiny little favor for your old man." Another pause. This time Mr. Do was grinning at the expectant look on his son's face. He held out the item he was holding, the thing he was searching for: a photograph. Of a boy, not more than 5-years old. His brown hair was unkempt and his eyes formed half-moons when he smiled.

"I don't care if it takes you 5 years or 10 years and I don't care how you do it as long as you do whatever it is I'm asking you to do," Mr. Do was saying. "Son, this is Byun Baekhyun. I want you to find him and bring him to me."

A/N: OMG , guys! I'm back! After almost 3 years, I'm finally back and with a new story hehe. Unfortunately, as of the moment, I have no plans to finish/edit my other stories buuuuttt a lot of story ideas have been tickling my mind and I have decided to scratch that itch so huzzah! Hopefully, I finish this and hopefully, it meets your (and mine) expectations. I have high hopes for this story. I obviously don't have a cover yet. Please forgive me for that. But don't worry I'm working on it (and by working on it, I mean finding decent book cover shops cos I'm a total failure and can't edit pics to save my life).

Just a little warning: this is a boyxboy story so if you're not into that kind of stuff please leave. But if you're fine with men falling in love with each other, then I hope you enjoy your stay! This is a ChanBaekSoo story, meaning I still have no idea if the final pair will be ChanBaek or Baeksoo even though I'm a HUGE BaekSoo shipper (and also a lowkey ChanBaek shipper). But do not fret. There will be enough ChanBaek and Baeksoo moments to satisfy your shipper hearts (and maybe even other ships in the exo fandom wink wink)

Don't worry, this will probably be the only time I'll write a really long A/N :))

Please don't forget to review and tell me what you think! :)

Dedicated to Abby because I miss you hoe :(( and this story is mainly for you and Issaw. THREE CHEERS FOR CHANBAEK adjhncxdjkf
