Selma's POV

I looked at the caller ID on my phone to see that it was Zayn that was calling. My heartbeat sped up drastically. It still hadn’t sunk in that Zayn freckin Malik had my number.

I gave Casey a nervous smile before finally answering. “Zayn?” I asked uncertainly.

“Oh um, no. This is Harry.”

“O-oh.” I stammered.

“Yeah so I was wondering if you and Casey would like to go see The Hunger Games with us.” he said casually.

It took everything in me to not scream right then and make a complete fool of myself. Keep calm, Selma.

“We’d love to.” I said, trying to act as normal as possible.

“Great! Is tonight at seven okay?”

“Yup!” I accepted. We then said goodbye and hung up.

I faced Casey who was looking at me expectantly. “

They just invited us to go see The Hunger Games with them tonight!” I practically yelled. Some of the other shoppers in the store gave me annoyed looks.

“Oh my god! No way!” Casey screamed. Of course we got annoyed looks once again.

“Okay, now what matters the most. I need to find the perfect outfit, like, now.” I said.

I dragged Casey out of the store and we began our search through the whole mall for something decent to wear. It took a total of an hour and a half to find it.

I looked in the mirror of the small carpeted dressing room and examined myself. I was dressed in pale blue skinny jeans and a black tank top covered with a pretty flower pattern that fit loosely.

I exited the tiny room to see that Casey had too. She wore a pretty pink skirt that was fitted at the waist by a black band and a white lacy tank top.

We grinned at each other and did our secret handshake that we had made up a while ago. Because, you know, we’re cool like that. We happily bought our outfits and headed back to our flat.

“What are we having for lunch?” I asked Casey when we entered our home.

“I don’t know. Can’t you cook?” she asked.

“But I cooked lunch and dinner yesterday!” I whined.

“Just this one time!” she said.

I glared at her. “Fine. But you have to cook for the next week.”

Casey groaned. “Okay fine.”

I skipped into the kitchen, happy that I was off cooking duty for a whole week.

As I cooked the noodles for the pasta that I was making, I thought back to what had happened today.

I felt like it had been a massive dream and that I would wake up any time now and realise that none of this had actually happened and it was just the works of my subconscious. What astonished me even more is that they actually wanted to hang out with us. I mean, seriously, we acted like complete idiots around them.

Oh who gives a fuck? I’m going to get to hang out with the hottest guys on the planet!

I smiled to myself as I took the pot of noodles off the heated stove and drained the water out. I added the tomato sauce onto the noodles and filled up two bowls with the pasta and placed them on the wooden kitchen table.

“Come eat, bitch!” I called. As I sat down on one of the two chairs, Casey strode into the room and gave me a death glare for referring to her as ‘bitch’. I smiled cheekily at her and devoured my meal.

The afternoon passed by in the blink of an eye and before I knew it, it was six o’clock. We had exactly one hour to get ready and to get our arses over to the movie theatre.

Challenge accepted.

I got dressed in the outfit that I had bought earlier then proceeded to do my makeup. I applied a bit of gold eye shadow, some eyeliner, a coat of mascara, and finally some lip gloss. I then realised I had forgotten to put some accessories on. Ah shit.

I looked through my jewelry box that was overflowing with various necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. I ended up picking out my favorite gold chained necklace that had a pendant with the word ‘Dream’, a purple beaded bracelet, and gold hoop earrings.

I checked the time on my watch. It was exactly 6:36. I sighed in relief, perfect. I left my bedroom and found Casey waiting for me in the hallway.

By the time we had finally reached the entrance of the cinema, I was full blown hyper. I pushed open the door and Casey and I walked in.

I was instantly hit with the delicious smell of popcorn. The place was crowded and there was a pretty long line up to get tickets. I looked around trying to spot them.

"There they are!" Casey said and pointed to five people who stood in the far left corner of the room. She grabbed me by the arm and we quickly made our way over to them.

"VAS HAPPENIN'?!" we yelled.

They turned around and greeted us. Both Zayn and Harry looked at me.

"You look amazing." "You look ravishing." they said at the same time.

My face was engulfed in flames as the two boys glared at each other.

"Th-thanks." I stuttered and looked at the red carpeted floor, not wanting to meet either one of their gazes.

"I think we should get our tickets now." Liam suggested. I felt like hugging Liam right then and there for saving me from such an awkward situation.

As we finished paying for our tickets, Niall yelled "FOOD!"

I laughed, God this kid and his love for everything edible.

After a couple of minutes of waiting, we finally got our food. I asked for a regular popcorn and a small coke, while Niall ordered an extra large popcorn, a large coke, and five different packs of candy. My eyes bulged as I took in the food that he carried in his arms.

We then walked into the dimly lit theatre.  Luckily, there was room for all seven of us in the back.

I climbed up the stairs and sat down on one of the comfy chairs. Harry and Zayn sat on either side of me. Well this awkward.

Louis and Liam sat on the other side of Harry and Niall and Casey sat next to Zayn.

The lights turned off as the screen lit up and the movie began.
