Let The Battle Commence!

Chapter 1

Oh no, Dad and Marian are arguing. Again. Let me explain, my name is Madeleine. I'm your usual kid.

Anyways, my mommy left me two years ago now. So, Dad has got a new girl called Marian. I do like her... but she isn't my mommy. My mommy who left me those years ago.

I think of her all the time. But Dad burned anything to do with her: photos, tape recordings of her, presents from her... and he even burned every last document with her signature on it. 

But he would never burn me. And as long as he thinks that I hate her, it will be peaceful. At least for now.

"Maddie, come down please," Marian said, harshly. I hate the fact that she thinks she is my mom. I feel like shouting, "No way!" but that would make my real dad angry and he can punish me.

"Alright," I say, helplessly in my cute voice and I carefully go down the stairs. 

I can't remember my mommy now, though, I'm only 3 years old.

Hi, have you just stumbled upon my story? I am going to write many more books about Madeleine McCann, hoping that one day, we will find her alive. Also, please note that this is just fiction at the end of the day, I don't own anything in this book, apart from the story line, and much of that is actually what happened! And lots of the things that happen in this book didn't happen in real life, for example the mom leaving Maddie and the Dad burning everything! I am not anything to do with Madeleine McCann, just very interested in the case.
