Chapter 4: A Very Blue Diamond

Years later I was walking through a forest in Korea with a black leather trench coat on and heavy duty boots on. It was nice to be on break from being a part of the crystal gems for a while after getting stabbed by a corrupted gem in the arm which almost made me a double amputee if it wasn't for Steven.

That miracle child.

My reason for coming to Korea out of all places was simple...I'd found a palanquin that might have belong to the shattered pink diamond...garnet and her future vision told me not to go and find it, but I was a grown man...I made my own decision. I put my gloved hands in my pockets as I come to a fence reading "keep out".

"This is either a nuclear area or where I need to be" think to myself as I begin to climb the fence...I land on the other side and come to a large blue Palanquin standing in better condition than it looked in the book and it was blue...I groan uneasily as the feeling that something was off came over me...I frown and cross my arms in confusion as I study my mind for the differences between the picture in my mind and what was in front of me.

I turn my head to see the broken down palanquin and the tall cloaked figure in front of it...I freeze at the sight of the giant figure and a small pearl that bows to it...before I gain the courage to walk quickly and crouch lowly behind wall of bushes that surround the broken palanquin in a beautiful scene of nature.

"I'm so sorry" the cloak figure says continuously as I hold my breath praying that I wouldn't get caught, but now a days fate would come and bite me at the butt as a the pearl appears above me and looks around.

"What are you doing over there?" The cloaked figure that is clearly a women says "I though I heard someone, my diamond" The pearl respond.

"Diamond?!" I think to myself as I slowly begin to turn red as I literally hold my breath...judging by my views...I was basically in the presence of blue diamond.

"We're not alone, my diamond".

My heartbeat as I am suddenly poked on the top of my head, I look up to see that the Blue Pearl had found me..."H-hello" I manage to say as I slowly stand.

"I've found a native my diamond" the Blue pearl says making a diamond symbol with her arms...I gulp uneasily as blue diamond remains motionless.

"Bring it here" Blue diamond said still staring at the pink Palanquin...Blue continues forward and I jump over the wall of bushes and carefully follow the pearl. who wouldn't be cautious in this type of situation...I stop dead just besides the pearl.

"Curious how humanity can survive in the wild" blue diamond say with her ghost like voice..."well we manage" I respond plainly not even receiving even a stir as blue diamond gestures to the palanquin.

"It happens here...where...where she was shattered" blue diamond says quietly dropping her hand.

"Were you close?" I ask stepping forward cautiously "Very" she responds..."I understand how it is to...to lose someone you care for" I say looking at my gloved hands that once held my brother's head as he died from a piece of wood impaling his abdomen.

"You do?" Blue diamond says turning her her head to me as a tear spills out of her eye..."yeah, and I think about him all the time, but I learned how he wasn't coming back when I let someone into my life...how I let myself have friends who helped me get over it" I say.

"I'm surprised a human know how I feel" blue diamond responds turning away from me before she turns complete and turns and lowers her head to my eye level.

"You know, I really shouldn't be here, but I am glad I came back one last time" she says as her large finger strokes my cheek "I can have something close to me from her legacy" she says and I grin awkwardly.

"How is that?" I murmur as her hand suddenly tighten around my body and she picks me up..."by bring you home world with me to be my pet" she says...she raises her free hand and a ship in the shape of a hand rises from the clouds and I watch in awe.

"That's a big ship" I think to myself as she takes me to the palanquin and it raises off the ground.

"I'm doomed to be slave aren't I" I think myself as she continuously strokes my short black hair with her finger like I  was a freaking cat.

She smiles and I return it, afraid she would crush my bones with her hand if I didn't show amusement.
