Beep

Beep

Beep

The sound of a heart monitor is continuing to beep and is quite frankly getting on my nerves.

I woke up in a hospital room with white, light tan and baby blue walls, and a small couch in the corner of the room under a window.

The bed was soft like a cloud of perfect harmony of soft and hard, that made you want to stay in it for ever and never want to leave.

But the sheets were rough and itchy and made your skin crawl.

It didn't smell like a hospital room it smelled of elegant flowers and a light hint of honey due.

As i went search the room i turned my head and felt a throbbing sharp pain go through my head.

That's when i realized what had happened and why i was put here.

Flash back

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"YOU WHORE WHERES MY BEER!! I GIVE YOU ONE SIMPLE THING AND YOU CANT EVEN COMPLETE THAT!! YOU A SELFISH, WORTHLESS BITCH!!"
He screams in my ear. His voice harsh and cruel. The smell of alcohol lingers off each word. I do my best not to react, to keep my self control but no one calls me a bitch, at least not if i can help it.
Ive never been one to tolerate worthless trash calling me foul names. I can defend my self and am not afraid to get my hands dirty and fight for my self and i wasn't going to start now.
I gave him a quick look of disgust, before i punched him in the gaw hard enough to make stumble and take a few steps back.
I took this as a opportunity to kick him in the face. Then go for a quick stomp on his precious man hood. He was knocked out and i quickly grabbed my scarf and tied it a round his hands.
I went to the couch and grabbed my phone to dial 911. "Hello this is 911. What is your emergency." A lady said.
"My name is Crystal. My foster guardian has become extremely intoxicated and has attacked me. I knocked him out and he's tied up in the living room. Can you please send an officer to pic him up. The address is 1142 Cocker Hill rd in Oak Cliff, TX." I told her in a serious mono tone.
"Yes I've sent a officer. Can you please tell me your guardians name??"
I was about to respond when i heard foot steps behind me. I turned around to see him holding a bat. He swung. And a series of sharp pain and throbbing went on on the side of my head, i fell to the ground.
The room started to go black as i looked up and saw him laughing.
End of flash back
I realized that i was here because of my current foster guardian, Frank. He was a drunk and didn't know the definition of personal hygiene.
He never really put his hands on me unless he was of his socks drunk which only happened every three or so weeks.
 I had only been staying with him for about two months but they were one of the worst two months of my life.
My head was spinning and the sharp throbbing pain was spreading like wild fire.
I started to sit up but that was a bad idea. Immediately a nurse entered the room and sat me back down on the bed "Don't move your in a lot of pain" she said in a small petite voice.
