"Mommy! Mommyyyy can we go yet? Pleaseeee!" my little son was asking me this for last hour.
"Love calm down, you are going to see daddy play, but we have time before the game starts." I said while stroking his dark blond hair. He is little version of Willy. Blue eyes, blond hair and passion for hockey.
I thought its hard live with one hockey player, but living with two hockey players is absolutely adventurous.
Sometimes they wake me up with theirs screaming while playing NHL or shooting on eachother with tennis balls ( I said totally NO to real pucks in our apartment).
I am watching Toy Story with Y/S/N in our big hotel bed. We are in Cologne to watch Will play for Sweden. Tonight they are playing against Germany.
Y/S/N is really exciting about watch his daddy play.
He woke up at 8am, put on his little Nylander jersey and have it on whole time we lay in bed.
6pm and we just finished the Toy story. Right on time.
"Okay, its time to go!" I said excitedly. His little blue eyes lit up.
"Yessss! Do you think daddy will score a goal tonight?" he asked me as I was getting my things in my bag and making sure we have tickets and jerseys.
"Hmmm what do you think?"
"I think he will score 10 goals."
"I agree with you." I laughed and toke his little hand in mine.
We took a cab to the arena. The ride was short and silent, cause my little baby was looking out of window with sparks in his eyes. He is so sweet.
After we found our seats in the middle of tribune behind Sweden bench, I put my Nylander jersey on and checked my phone.
I texted Will pic of Y/S/N with thumbs up and "Good luck babe!"
First period and its 1-1.
Will found us in the crowd and send us little wave and smile.
Second period and its 2-4 for Sweden and Will got asistance!
"Mom?"
"Yeah?" I looked down at the ball of sunshine.
"When we can meet dad?"
"Tomorrow I hope. He doesn't have a game so hopefully he will be able to meet with us."
"Yayyy!" and he started cheering again. He totally isn't introvert kid. He started talking with older man and woman who were sitting next us. About hockey, and his dad of course.
"You are very smart little man! Hope we will see you on the ice one time." the old man said and send me a little smile. Y/S/N just chuckled and sat next to me.
Third period
Will just scored goal!
I jumped on my feet and started cheering with other sweden fans, Y/S/N did the same.
When Will looked at us I send him smile and his son was just screaming and jumping out of happiness.
Two minutes later and Will scored second goal, what a game.
"Moooom!" Y/S/N hugged me.
The game continued with no more goals. Sweden won 7-2.
In hotel
We were now laying in bed, Y/S/N in my arms and talking about how his dad did great tonight.
We facetimed Will while ago and he said he will meet us tomorrow morning at our hotel.
"Okay baby, its time to sleep."
"I don't wanna sleep."
"As faster you will fall asleep, that faster you will see daddy."
"Really?"
"Really." I chuckled and switched lights off.
"One day I will be like daddy."
"I'm 100% sure. I love you baby."
"I love you too mommy! And daddy of course."
"Daddy loves us too. Good night."
"Good night."
