It was quiet in the mansion. The only sound you could hear were the footsteps of someone wandering the halls. Reiji was always in his room taking care of his business. Subaru always in the garden. Kanato in the basements with his dolls. Ayato either in his room or the kitchen. Laito probably just on the balcony. The last and oldest brother, Shu, who was always taking a nap on the couch.
Katelynn, one of the sacrificial brides was on the roof, where she liked to be. Katelynn stayed laying down, listening to her music kinda like Shu.
"Hey." Said a voice coming onto of Katelynn.
"..hi" She responded.
"What are you doing here"
"None of your business" She sat up and started to walk around the edge of the roof.
"Stop that" Shu growled.
"Breathing? My heart beating?" Shu sighed watching you just get closer to the edge.
"Your so pathetic.."
"Pathetic-ly awesome" Katelynn chuckled as Shu gave her a 'really..just really' face.
"Just stop messing around before you-"
"Woopsys~" Said Katelynn cutting him off. She was already gone. She flunge herself off the roof. Shu ran up to the edge but didn't see her body.
"Fu~ looking for someone?" Shu turned around seeing Katelynn smirking evily and pushing him off. Before he fell she grabbed onto his arm and pulling him up.
"Don't..EVER Do that again.." Shu growled.
"Fine.. Your no fun.. Didn't think being stuck in this place would be so boring."
"How is being here boring? Atleast your not like whiney Yui"
"True, well first Nebs is always with Reiji and sometimes Laito, Minty is with always trying to get on Subarus soft side, Lish is either talking with Kana-Kun or being over crowded by Ayato." Said Katelynn in a cold tone.
"Why didn't you mention me"
"Your always dead taking a nap." Shu gave a small cute chuckle that made Katelynn blush a bit.
"Hey..thanks for not letting me fall atleast" Started Shu.
"Eh do-"
"I wouldn't want to fall for anyother girl" Said Shu,cutting her off. A fuller blush slowly creeped onto her cheeks as she tried not to flinch at his try in flirting.
"Your kidding right.."
"Ehheh..y-yeah" He studdered as he to started to blush.
"Your..serious.. W-Why are you trying that.. I know your not like that.." Katelynns face only turned darker red as she turned to face the other direction. Does he know I've been crushing on him..? She thought to herself.
"U-Uh.." Should I tell her.. He thought to himself as well.
"There's something I need to tell y-you.."
"What..is it.."
"Don't you ever think I know when someone's watching me.." Oh..shit.. I'm such an idiot.. Thought Katelynn again.
"I..l-love the way you act when your song changes.. You smile but then it fades.. But you still enjoy it.. And I know..o-on the inside your always dancing to your favorite song, Freaks.." Shu continued saying but Katelynn only stayed quiet as her face turned even more red. He..likes me too.. Would repeat in her head.
"I've seen you always glancing at me with light pink cheeks.. You've thrown alot of smiles at me and when I talk to you.. You act like you dont care..I-I love that.."
"Shu.."
"H-Hm yeah?.."
"I l-like you okay?!" Katelynn backed up covering her mouth and half of her cheek with her hands.
",,,S-Stop that.." He growled.
"Huh..what bre-"
"Don't start that again... I mean.. S-Stop acting as if.. I'm going to refuse your feelings... I can see your eye getting watery.."
"S-So.."
"I.. Don't like you.. I love you Katie.." Shu smiles softly taking his earbuds out and slowly walking towards her.
"I..love you too.. And don't call me that!"
"Heh my Katie~" Shu hugged her tightly never letting go.
"Hmmrr.." Katelynn growled but then melted into the hug. They both layed down staring at the dark blue sky as Katelynn put 1 of her earbuds into his ear so he could listen as well. Shus face turned more pink as he kissed her deeply.
"You don't have bad taste in music like I thought."
"I'm surprised you like Freaks like me..wait How did you know it was my favorite??"
"U-Um.. One night I layed with you at night and listened to it too.." Both of their faces turned bright red.
"C-Can I bite.."
"S-Sure and don't think I Don't know what you just did.."
"Eheh..yeah" Shu chuckled emmbarrassed before biting down on Katelynns neck and drinking her sweet blood.
"H-Hey Shu.." Studdered Katelynn just a little weak. He pulled pulled away to catch his breath and so answer her.
"Yes Katelynn?.."
"Your my monster.."
"Is that from He's A Mon-" Shu was cut off by Katelynn slowly drifting to asleep.
"Get your rest Katie."
