Chapter 2

*Ino POV*

Gezz macaroons seem really popular today. I have to make 3 trays and 25 macaroons fit on a single tray! Ugh why me I'm off work.

I sighed. 'I wonder how there doing did Sera tell them I had to make macaroons' I thought.

"Ino your tables order is almost done." Alex said.
"Thanks Alex I'm almost done here." I said.
"Thanks for the help even though your off work." Alex said.
"It's no trouble." I said.

The bell rang meaning time to get macaroons out. I put the mitts on and pulled the tray out. I set the tray down and got to putting them together. While I was working I was watching my tables order. I don't know why I just did.

"Ino I think your done." Mira said.
"Huh." I said I looked at my tray and noticed I was done makeing them I was just putting filling on the tray.

"Oh haha i wasn't paying attention." I said laughing.
"I think that's obvious." Mira said giggling.

'Oh man why did I have to get destracted' I thought.

"Ino were waiting on the noodles for the ramen and then your tables order is done." Dom said.
"Thanks Dom I'm done here I'm gonna go put these out." I said
"Alright." He said.

I went and rewashed my hands. Then went to grab the tray.

"Ouch!!" I yelled. I dropped the tray back on the table and looked at my hand it was really red.

"Ino what happened!" Mira yelled rushing up to me.
"I touched the pan while it was still hot." I said swinging my hand cause it was stinging.
"Gezz Ino let me see." Mira said taking my hand.
"Ow!" I yelled.
"Sorry Ino." Mira said.

'Please let go of my hand it hurts really bad' I thought.

"Here let's run it under water then I'll wrap your hand." Mira said.
"Thanks Mira." I said.
"No problem." She said.

She dragged me back to the sink and put my hand under water. I'm not gonna lie it stung even worse when the water touched my hand. I felt like I could cry it stung so bad.

"Okay let's go wrap it." Mira said.

I simply nodded and followed her to the break room. I sat down and let her do her thing.

"You know Ino what's got you so distracted?" Mira asked.
"Uhh." Was all I was able to provide.
"Was it that group of people here." Mira asked.
"Uh yea sorry I'm not usually like this I just couldn't help but watch our order going." I said.
She smiled and giggled.
"What's so funny." I asked.
"Just the fact you just met these people and now they got you all destracted." Mira said.

I smiled and watched her wrap my hand after putting something on it.

"Im pretty destracted today yea but who wouldn't be. I mean I suddenly have a sister and 13 brothers." I said.
"Are you sure y'all are even related." Mira asked.
"I called dad and he explained everything to me." I said.
"Oh really what did he say." Mira asked.
"Well." I said

*Flashback*

I just hung up the phone.
"I need to call dad for a explanation." I mumbled.

I picked up my phone and scrolled down to dad's number. I stopped and looked at it for a minute. 'Now or never' I thought.

'ring'

'Hello'
"Hey dad it's Ino." I said.
'Hey Ino what is it'
"Well I just had an interesting phone call over me having a sister and brothers now." I said.
'I figured that's what it was'
"So you new I would call about this?" I asked.
'Yea Ema just found out I'm not her real father not to long ago I figured someone would notice your name'
"Why didn't you tell me." I asked.
'I did when you went abroad for study but I never got a reply either'
"Oh dang I lost my phone when I landed." I said.
'Well I guess that explains it'
"But how long i mean shes like 16 I'm 24." I asked.
'I didn't want to bother you about it you seemed so focused I didn't want you to slow down because you suddenly had a sister'
"Dad family comes first in my book I wouldn't have slowed down I mean look how far I got! I got my dream started I have the cafe!" I said excited.
'Yes and I'm proud of you but now your running a business things are going to get harder so you have more studying to do to be able to handle your cafe'
"I should of paid attention she had a sister along and she went all those years alone while you traveled. I should of been there." I said.
