Squid had walked into Stampy's room, as Stampy quickly shirt the book. "Oh, hello." He said nervously. Squid tilted his head. "You okay, Stampy?" He asked. Stampy nodded. "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?" He asked. Squid shrugged. "I don't know...you just seem a little off..." He said.
Stampy shook his head and put the book back in the box. "I'm fine, now I have to go water my flowers, I'll be back in a few minutes!" Stampy said, he actually did need to water them, so he wasn't making that part up.
As he left, Squid looked down to the book, then curiously opening it. He saw all of the pictures of them and realized why Stampy was acting so strange when he walked in. He sighed and put the book down, then walking outside.
As he left, Squid looked down to the book, then curiously opening it. He saw all of the pictures of them and realized why Stampy was acting so strange when he walked in. He sighed and put the book down, then walking outside. He saw Stampy watering his flowers as he walked over, smiling lightly.
"Hey again, I uh...saw the book you were looking at..." He said sheepishly. Stamps froze and looked away. "I thought you might...I just miss him." He said.
Squid sighed. "We all miss him, even though we didn't have a bond with him as much as you did, we still understand."
"But I feel so bad, I could've saved him, he would still be here if I would've just blocked that hit!" Stamps huffed.
"Stamps." Squid said in a serious tone. "Lee was protecting you. He would've did it anywhere else, and I'm sure you would too, and if the roles where reversed, I would be saying the same thing to him right now."
Stamps took in Squid's words instead of pushing them away, he actually understood him now. He sighed. "I'm gonna take a walk, probably go visit him, would you like to come?" He asked. "I'm sorry, I can't, I have to go tend to my little doggies back at home, I'll go with you another day, though." Squid smiled, and so did Stampy.
"Okay, ill see you later." He waved as Squid went to his own world.
He picked a rose from his garden and started walking to the cemetery, opening the gate and closing it as he walked inside. He was about hesitant, even though he visited this place every week, and if he skipped a week on accident, he would go twice on the next week to make up for it.
He walked to the grave which marked Lee's name on it and sat down, holding the rose and looking down at it before smiling and placing it near his friend's gravestone.
"Hi, Lee-Bear...I'm here for my weekly visit...I know this is a little weird, you can't see me, or hear me, but it just feels good to talk to you like this...it feels like you're here...I wish you were, so many things happen since you left us, I bet you would love to see it." He smiled. He suddenly felt a little cold, even though there was no wind. He shivered.
"That's strange, it was just warm..." He said, getting an eerie vibe from this all. He looked back to Lee's gravestone and blinked, wondering why it was so cold.
"L...Lee?" He asked in a hushed tone, leaning to the gravestone. He then leaned back to his original position and scoffed. "No, that's impossible, ghosts aren't real...right...?" He said. He usually would tell ghost stories but they would all be made up, so he didn't think now would be the same thing, maybe it would rain soon. He looked up to the sky, not a cloud to be present.
He blinked, trying to feel some wind, he didn't feel any. This was strange. He bit his lip and looked around. This was getting creepy. He stood up. "Uh, I'll come back another time, Lee..." He said, waving to the grave and walking out. He ran back home and panted, looking around. "Okay...I'm safe, but...ghosts can't be real, they're just made up, right...?" He asked himself,
He sighed and shrugged. "I guess I'll never know, they're probably not even real...it was just a coincidence, a drop in temperature, it's fine." He said, trying to stay calm.
He laid in bed and closed his eyes, sighing for a good three seconds to relieve some sad feelings. He was doing so well with dealing with the loss, now that he was reminded of Lee everything went downhill.
He couldn't even say his name out loud without feeling sad anymore. He avoided things like that, but not to the point where he was trying to make Lee forgotten, as he would never in his lifetime forget.
Stampy pushed away the memories and just decided to film a video or two so he would have one to upload if needed too sooner, like a backup video. He also had other videos that were like backups, like redstone videos of him failing at it and getting frustrated, or showing everyone places in the FunLand they may not have seen.
He always does some of those in case he's not feeling well or something of the sort.
It was hard for the first couple of videos without Lee in them, since it was so sudden. Stampy had to carefully explain to everyone that he wouldn't be making any more appearances. He didn't exactly say that he had passed away but he did hint heavily to it.
People were sad but seemed to get over it quickly, which Stampy could understand since they didn't know him as well as he did.
