The Hoodie guy left after saying that his dad is in jail. I didn't mind that he walked away, I needed time to myself to think about his letter and the only sentence he has ever spoken to me.
For the rest of the day I walked in the park for as long as I could until it started getting dark. The next day and the day after that I worked. I did not see Hoodie guy or Zayden neither of the days.
I have been getting dizzy spells at work these last two days and I do not know why.
I'm working again today. I don't feel that great, but I am sure I can make it through my shift.
"Are you okay?" Rosa, my coworker, asks me with concern.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." I try to give her a convincing smile and I think it works.

I exit the diner once my shift ends. My vision starts clouding with black dots and panic creeps in.
What is going on?! I need to see to get home!
"You do not need your sight to follow me," A voice says in my mind.
God, I'm scared!
Black dots cloud my vision and I cannot see anything in front of me. I stop walking. "Can someone help me? I can't see anything!"
No one comes to my rescue like in the fairytales. Tears spill onto my cheeks and I wipe them away.
God, I need you! You made the blind see again. Why can't you do it for me this one time?
My vision clears up enough that I can see enough to get home, but the dots keep moving to different places. I start walking and suddenly I hear tires screeching. Then I'm being pushed and I hit my head on the ground.

"I don't know what I'm doing," a guy's voice says and keep my eyes closed. "You wanted me to talk to her and I did, sort of. She doesn't even know it's me. I'm too scared. What if she doesn't like the true me? What am I supposed to do then? I can't make her heart change, only You can do that. She is hurting and struggling with something, God. Let a peace settle over her heart and mind. Help me to do Your will. Amen."
I open my eyes and turn towards the guy. I can tell it is the hoodie guy from his black hoodie. He is holding my hand and has his head down. I squeeze his hand to let him know I am awake. He lifts his head and he laughs happily.
"I'm so happy you woke up!"
My lips curve upward into a smile and I'm happy to see him here. "I'm happy you are here."
"Do you remember what happened?"
I close my eyes as the memory comes back to me. "I haven't been feeling good for the last couple of days. I went in work and left after my shift ended. I started seeing black dots and I couldn't see anything. I tried calling out for someone to help me, but no one came. I guess God tried talking to me, but we aren't on good terms. I wanted him to heal me like he did for the blind people and he didn't. The next thing I know someone pushes me and I hit my head. Now, I'm here talking to you."
"What did God tell you?"
"You do not need your sight to follow Me." I reply and open my eyes.
"What do you think that means?"
"I don't know. He wants me to follow Him?"
He shrugs. "I think He is trying to show you something, Lillian. I just hope you don't push Him away."
