"Luna, you should join a sport." Dad stated as he ate his dinner along with us at the short square dinner table. I pick at my broccoli as the clinking of silverwares hitting the white plates. This again? How many times do we have to go over this.

"Dad, I don't like sports," I answer him as I look up at him. I look nothing like him. Sure, we have the same small nose and eye shape, but everything else is different like sun and moon.

He has a body of an athlete while I'm nothing but skin and bones, he and Daisy have the same golden hair and blue eyes like Daisy, and our personalities are different like sweet tea and root beer. He kept his eyes on his plate as he states," Sure you do, you were so excited when you were on the swimming team." I stop picking at my broccoli and sighed.

"I wasn't happy, Dad. I hated it every minute of it and I was happy when they pulled me from the team." He shrugs his shoulders," That's not how I remembered it." I look at Daisy then to Mom. Daisy kept happily eating like nothing was happing while Mom wasn't eating and was looking at me with a crooked smile.

Mom and I had the best bond unlike Dad and I. We also not only have the best bond, but we do share couple of things. We both have the same face shape, cheeks, short legs, shortness, and our love for books. My mom had to be the most amazing person in the world.

"Luna, I think you should try out for swimming or track." I sighed and look at Dad who was now looking at me with his sharp eyes. I replied," I hate swimming and I'm not even that good at running... Stop telling me to do something that I don't want to do."

He glared at me as he angrily said," Who is the adult here?" This cause Daisy to stop eating and look at him.

"You."

"Then listen to me! I'm trying to help you to get into a life where you're not on the streets! I know what's best for you and clearly you don't snice you keep your nose in a book 24/7!" I stared at him, but I stop after a while of silent and got up.

"Where are you going!" I looked at him and answered," I'm going out since you can't see that." I quickly walk out of the medium size dining room and walking out of the front wood door while ignoring Dad's anger voice yelling and Mom's voice begging me to come back. I slam the door and stuff my hands in my pockets as I hurry away from the house, the neighborhood, and finally stop at the place that I love the most which is the library. It's still open because it closes at 9:00 PM and right now it is 5:00 PM. I sigh and walk into the huge place that holds how many stories of people both real and not real at all. I close the glasses double doors to see Diana which she is the librarian and the only librarian for this place. She was holding a pile of books in her arms when she turns her red mixed with gray-head and gave me one of her loving smiles that can brighten anyone's day.

"Luna, I didn't think you wasn't coming to day."

"Me and Dad got into another fight." I gave her a uneven smile while her smile went away and she shake her head with a frown.

"What was it this time?" She asks as she turn and start to put books up on the shelf.

"Well," I started as I stand next to her and help her out with the books," it started with him saying that I need to join a sport and try to say that I loved it when I join the swimming team then soon after he yells that he knew what was best for me and all I do is read all the time." Diana sigh and put up the last book and says," Go to the normal table and I will bring coffee for the both of us." She turns and walk toward to her desk that had a blue door behind, and inside the blue door it has a couple of stuff inside which includes a coffee stuff and a coffee maker that make a god worthily coffee.

"Whip cream?" I ask with a grin.

"Yes." She laughs. I laugh too as I head out of the old history books and into the supernatural books section. I sigh happily with a smile when a see the table for two in front of a huge window that has a great view of the park. I sat down in the wood chair and look at the park as I lean on my hand. The sky was yellow mix with a faint pink color and the sun was setting. It was beautiful. I looked at the park more and I seen something moving under the huge old tree on the hill.

I narrow my boring eyes to see the shadow figure under the tree. I knew it wasn't a kid because of the height which was strangely very tall. The shadow figure had something in its hand - wait... Was that fire? I knit together my eyebrows. That's impossible because holding fire in your hands is just impossible if it wasn't a story of some sort. The shadow figure close its hand and as the fire was being crush it raised up like it was fighting his fingers from closing on it and when the hand open the fire was nowhere to be seen. My eyes widen and I quickly stand up from my chair, it got moved back, as the shadow figure walk down the hill.

A though pop in my head that just made me think I was being more stupid and crazy than I did now. To follow it and to see if I was right about what I seen. I shake my head and sit back down as I frown and close my eyes. I am being stupid, of course, that was try what I believe I seen. I just was thing about that book I was reading at the school's library. I open my eyes and stare at the table as my eyes narrow my eyes with my cheeks kind of puff up. Still... My eyes never fooled my before, so why would my eyes fool me now?

I growled and my hands shot to my messy hair then pull it.

"That's it!" I jump up and stomp out the back door that was glass and near the table. I am looking for that stranger because I can't take it anymore! Now I regret making this choice. I have look for this stupid shadow figure for hours and now it's dark! I could have spent those hours with Diana drink god like coffee with whip cream... Diana!

I slap my head and groan. I completely forgot about that and now when I go there tomorrow she is going to kill me. My hand slide off my face when I heard a gasp down the alley beside of me. I sigh as I stare at the alley as I a debit. Do I want to not be an idiot and walk away or be an idiot and walk down the alley... Well, I was going to die either way, so death here I come. I silent walk down the dark alley while press against the brick wall so I kind of be hidden. As I counited, I started to a familiar voice that make me shiver. I got to a turn and I stick my head out to see something that made me gasp.

It was Leo with blood on him as he laugh like crazy with a lifeless women lying at his feet. Leo stop laughing and his head turn toward me with his blood lust and crazy grin.

"So, this is another person that Leo knows. I wonder how funny this one will be?" His voice made me shiver as my eyes widen in fear. Run. He walked toward me slowly with his eyes with craziness filled them, but they also had a distant look in them.

Run! I was froze in place as he was in front of me with my eyes widen and mouth quivering in fear. His bloodily hand lift my chin as he says," Not doing anything? You were all bite this morning but what happen? Were just all bark?" His breath was visible but it was like smoke and it was 100 degrees here. NOW YOU IDIOT!

I kick Leo between his leg and when his eyes snap close and his hands between his legs I race out of the alley. I didn't stop until I was at my house, so when I got inside the house and slam the door I drop to my knees and did my best to catch my breath... WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPEN!
