Chapter One: A Best Friend’s Surprise

I woke up to the sound of Black Veil Brides playing from my Batman alarm clock. I rolled out of bed, and started dancing to 'Rebel Love Song.' I headed to my closet to pick out what to wear today. 

I ended up in a pair of ripped blue skinny jeans and my Black Veil Brides band tee. I teased and straightened my long blonde hair and applied some black eyeliner to make my blue eyes pop. 

After I was ready I headed downstairs to see my dad. I gave him a morning hug. "Morning daddy." I said, smiling. 

"Morning sweetie. How'd you sleep?" Dad asked, putting down the newspaper. 

"Alright, had another dream about Black Veil Brides." 

Dad laughed, "Oh, of course. When do you not dream about those boys?" 

“I don’t know.” 

“You kiss the Andre 6 dude again?” 

“Andy, not Andre and it’s Biersack, Dad. He doesn’t go by Sixx anymore.” 

“Oh, whatever.” Dad laughed. I knew he was just messing around, he knew better than to make fun of my favourite person in the whole world. 

I just laughed, making myself a cup of coffee. I loved how my dad understood and even joked about my love for the band. I was lucky to have my dad. I don't know what I'd do without him. 

It's pretty much been just me and Dad since my mom died back when I was 10, seven years ago. She died from a car crash and it still hits Dad and I pretty hard. But Dad copes with it better than I do, he's use to dealing with the loss of people being a mortician and all. 

Just then I hear my cell phone ring from my pocket, I quickly pull it out and answer it. 

"Hello?" 

"Hey Blondie, I got a surprise for you." I knew it was my best friend Casey, she’s the only one who I allow to call me Blondie. 

"What is it, Casey?" I asked. 

"You know how your birthday's coming up soon right?" 

"Case, my birthday isn't for another 3 months." I reminded her. 

"Oh, I know. But I kinda got you an early birthday present." she announced. 

"Well, what is it?" I was getting anxious. 

"Come to your back door." she said, "I will guide you where to go from there." 

"Okay." 

I just rolled my eyes and headed to the back door that led to my backyard and my back driveway. 

"Casey, where are you?

"I'm near the back driveway, Aimee. Just follow the sound of my voice."

Her voice led me to the end of the driveway where I saw a bus. Not just any tour bus, the Black Veil Brides tour bus. Casey came running out of the bus. I hung up my phone, putting it back in my pocket. 

She came and grabbed my hand, leading me inside the bus. 

"SURPRISE!!!" she shouted.

I double blinked and saw Ashley, CC, Jinxx, Jake and Andy standing in front of us. Casey walked over and gave CC a hug. I could hardly breathe.
