Chapter Three: Confessions

I woke to the sun shining in my eyes through the window in Andy’s room. Andy’s arm was securely wrapped around my waist. I could’ve sworn everything that happened yesterday was a dream, it was just too good to be true. I was now Andy Biersack’s girlfriend and I want to be the best girlfriend I could be. I tried to get out of bed, but I felt Andy’s arms pulling me back.

“Where do you think you’re going?” he asked.

“I was gonna call my dad and make sure he got dinner last night and everything. I’ll be back in a minute.”

“Oh, well okay. I gotta shower anyway.”

I leaned over and kissed Andy’s cheek, “See you in a bit.”

I crawled out of bed, grabbed my iPhone out of my jeans pocket and headed outside. The bus was parked in a crappy old hotel parking lot. Mark, the bus driver must have just picked a random hotel to park in.

I dialled my house number. After a few rings Dad answered the phone. “Hello?”

“Hi, Daddy.” I said.

“Oh, hey Aimee. How was your first night with the boys?” Dad asked.

“Oh, gosh dad. Where do I begin? They’re great people and well you know how I’ve had the biggest crush on Andy for the past 4 years?”

“Yes, I remember. Ever since you saw him on TV when you were 14 you were determined you were going to marry him. You wanted me to drive you to the wedding dress boutique so you could buy a dress.”

Knowing Dad, he’d bring that up. “Yeah, I know. Well it turns out Casey’s been telling Christian all about me and he’s told Andy. Turns out Andy’s kinda had a crush on me for the past couple months. Even when he was dating Juliet Simms!” I exclaimed.

“That’s the rock star one he just broke up with right?” Dad asked.

“Yup, that one. Well I haven’t told you the best part yet. At the concert last night right before they played ‘Rebel Love Song’ Andy called me on stage and asked me out in front of like 200 hundred people.”

“Oh, did he? Is Andy around right now?” I had a feeling Dad wanted to do the ‘dad’ thing and threaten Andy that if he hurts me, he’d hurt them.

“He’s actually in the shower right now. I’ll call you tonight and let you talk to him then, if you want.” I offered.

“Alright, well I better get going. I’ve got two funerals to look after today.”

“Okay, I’ll call you later. Love you, Dad.”

“Love you too, honey. Have a good day.” he said.

“I will.” and then the line went dead.

I headed back into the bus. Ash and Casey were playing COD again. Casey was practically sitting on top of Ash, trying to knock the control out of his hands.

“You can’t beat me, Ashley! I’m a pro!” she exclaimed.

“Oh, sure you are.” Ash said, laughing.

I just laughed as I headed to the bedroom to get dressed. I picked out a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and my yellow “Green Day” band tee. I got dressed, grabbed my toothbrush and hair brush and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. I could hear Andy singing “The Mortician’s Daughter” in the shower.

“No dust will ever grow on this frame, One million years, and I will say your name. I love you more than I can ever scream.”

I joined in on the chorus. “We booked our flight those years ago, I said I love you as I left you. Regrets still haunt my hollow head. But I promised you that I will see you again.”
