On the day of January 5 I got out of bed at seven o'clock and to my suprise it was still somewhat dark, then all the sudden my mother burst through the bedroom door get dressed and pack a bag NOW!
I was shocked at her agrissive tone. I came downstairs and my mother was practically pulling me by the shoulder to get out of the house.
I was really starting to worry now because my mother had never been like this, but when we got out the back door our car was waiting got in the back and as soon as we were off I asked "WHAT WAS THAT".
My mother said "look at the roof ".
I looked up and saw a giant blimp, with ladders hanging down and people on the ladders.
The color left my face "what do they want" I asked frantically. "They want this " my mother said holding up a golden ball "they want it because it can power there machines", "WELL WHY DO YOU HAVE IT THEN".
"James I'll explain when were in a safe place".
The car ride was about two hours long and I was scared the whole way. .
I fell asleep for about an hour and when I woke, we were at a run down old cottage that appeared to be in the middle of nowhere.
I brought my bags inside, and said "ok will you tell me now" . "Yes" my mother said
"It started a long time ago in the Ukraine region two countries that now make up Ukraine were at war, the enemy country wanted power and land specifically
But the enemy king found out about the power of the infinity sphere, which is this golden ball here, he had to have it but our king wasn't going to give it up so easily ,
So he chose our family to protect it and when the enemy country lost the war, and had to give up there land they formed a team of specialized men to find the infinity sphere, and that's who those men were".
"Really"I said " they've been searching for it for how long"
"3000 years james"
"And they only just found it now you said "
"Yes James" my mother said
"Oh my god" I said
"Give me one good reason why I should belive you" James said
"Because James, if you don't and you decide to not take the quest life as we know it will cease to exist".
"Wait I have to go on a quest!!"
I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I have to go on a quest. Absolutely ridiculous, there's no way I can save the world I'm just a kid.
I shouldn't have to do this, I shouldn't have to go through this.
So if your wondering what the cabin looks like, here it is. It's about a thousand square feet with a cliff in the backround that leads to An ocean with a dirt road out in front.
The inside is like this. Walk through the door and the kitchen is in the right and the bathroom in the left. Straight ahead is the living room and the dining room.
So I guess its kinda cool.
We ate dinner in silence and didn't say a word until bedtime when we said good night. The next morning I woke up thinking it was a dream then I realized we were in the run down old cabin.
And I didn't want to get out of bed.
But I ended up walking outside and to my suprise I heard the bushes Russell.
