It was supposed to be a night to remember. A night about friendships, heartaches, and love. It was a night about a couple who loved each other deeply and unconditionally. That night did not go as planned
December 16, 2009
"Violet Mallory Potter!" I heard faintly.
"Yes," answering half-awake.
"Get up and change the bus will be here and you still need to eat breakfast, " said my mom.
Quickly, I got up and looked in the mirror. I saw my brown hair was a complete mess and my hazelnut eyes appeared red because I had just woke up. I started to smell a sweet armona seeping into my bedroom. This smelled like pancakes with syrup, which were my favorite. So that gave me motivation to hurry up and change.

Once I came down my stairs apparently I was right about the food,
"Good morning," I said to my mom
"Good morning," she replied
"Where is dad?"
"Oh he took off this morning for work"
"Busy guy" I said.
Finishing my food, I grabbed my bag and closed my house door saying my goodbyes. When I arrived at my bus stop, my bus had arrived. Thank goodness my best friend saved my seat.
"Hey Scarlett Jones"
"I hate it when you say my full name and you know that Vie"
"Ok sorry Scar anyways did you study for our final for honors chemistry"
"Yeah did you? Or wait was that even a question when you always study"
"Yeah hold on I'm going to review"

Hey were here Scar said to me.
"Are you and Cole attending the party that I'm throwing?"
"No we have a date on the 18th sorry"
"Its fine another time yeah"
"Sure"
Walking into my 1st block which was my favorite subject... Math. I see Cole with his brown hair parted to the side, and his hazel eyes just staring at me. I observed that he had already saved me the seat right next to him of course. I swear sometimes I can't be separated from him.
"Good morning beautiful"
"Morning, dork" I said
"How was your..." He was interrupted by my teacher after that we had a long lecture on how to solve problems.
"Hey what are you wearing to Scar's party?" he said
"You forgot didn't you? We have a date. Or lets reschedule?"
"Okay... How about the 20th? That's fine?"
"Sure, why not"

At the end of the day, I texted Cole and told him I'm not going to Scar's party. I had a lot of homework. He texted back saying, "ok, I'll just go stag."

I checked my calendar; it was actually December 18th, the day of the party. I texted Cole but he was nowhere to be found. I also texted scar she was nowhere to be found either.

After the long day at school, I decided to take a break from all the schoolwork I had. I know right... scandalous.
"Hey mom can I go to Scar's party tonight?"
"Sure... Where?"
"At her House"
"Is her parents going to be there?"
"No, but her Brother will be."
"How old is he?"
"He's 25."
"Ok, be safe."
"I will don't worry"
I walked to the car and started the engine. I wanted to surprise Cole so I got him his favorite candy at the store (Which were Mochi crunch rice crackers). I went to his house to pick him up. Unfortunately, he was already at the party so I had to drive another hour to get there.

"Whoa!" I said as my stomach rumbled.
I stopped by Curry house to grab something to eat before heading over.
"Welcome to curry house! May I take your order?" said the Asian waitress.
"Can I get a Mild chicken cutlet with water?"
"Sure, it will be out in a few minutes"

I got my food and it was great. I headed over to Scar's house which was going to be a great night. When I got there, I found the closest parking I could. It's like the whole school was here.
I knocked on the door and was welcomed by none other than Scar's brother, Kaleb.
"Hey Vie, welcome to our home."
"Hi Kaleb... Hey do you know where Scar is?"
"Yeah, she should be in the kitchen"
"Ok thanks"

Unfortunately when I got to the kitchen, Scar was never to be found. So me being nosey, I went to look for her in her room. Horrible choice because when I got there... She was kissing someone. I could not identify him at first. When they looked at me, it was Cole.
"Oh Vie," said Scar.
I stood there frozen. I couldn't take it; it felt as if the whole world's weight had just got on my shoulders.
"I can explain!" said Cole
"We are done" I said, "I've seen enough"
"Best!" said Scar
I interrupted her saying, "You two stay away from me"
I ran out of the house drove home and sat there eyes filled with tears of anger and heartbreak.
