Lucy's POV
I woke in a dusty old bed in a room that looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't place it. I had to remember, it seemed so important. I remembered the walls used to be painted neatly and I remember the sound of...the sound of a baby laughing? yes. A baby laughing in this room, and singing accompanying it. Such a pleasant time. But then it started to change the laughing switched to crying and the singing to screaming. What was this what was happening! 'no,no dont touch my baby! I heard a woman cry and the screams continued, I was panicking now, sweat started to drip down my forehead and I had tears in my eyes but I was too lost in the memory to register it. Suddenly voices from below interrupted the memory and brought me back to the problem at hand, where was I now and who was down stairs. I shakily stood up from the bed and stumbled a few steps to the door trying to be as silent as possible, the closer to the door I was the clearer the voices became.
Slowly I inched the door open and slipped out in to the cold air and started to carefully creep don the worn wooden steps. I peaked through a window to try and get a look at the room but to my misfortune I saw no one, I would have to get closer. As I walked up to the shop door I carefully stopped the shop bell from ringing as I slipped closer to the main room where the voices where loudest. Even this shop looked familiar. What was happening. Where am I? I thought hopelessly.
At last I was close enough to distinguish sentences in the conversation "Now that you've ...had revenge, what do we do now?" a voice that sounded like a young boy asked cautiously, his question was followed by a deep sigh before a oddly soothing voice answered "I don't know". the last speaker sounded so familiar, his voice seemed so important to me. I had to know who, I had to remember. I just hoped I wouldn't regret this. I took a deep breath and walked into the room, there where a few other people but my eyes immediately settled on the wild black hair with the one white steak running through it. The hair was unforgettable but the man himself i couldn't remember. At the sight of me he jumped out of his chair and whispered my name breathlessly, his face and hair brought on a wave of emotions that caused me to feel faint and stumble back, he darted forward as I started to fall and just before everything went black I looked into his eyes and sow such sadness, hope and love? I just didn't understand.
