Chapter Two

Louis caught his breath, not daring to make a sound. What's the problem? It's not like he hadn't been in this position before. There was absolutely no reason why he should be freaking out. Harry slept naked in his bed, as he did every night. This was completely normal.

But why couldn't he breathe?

He slowly began to feel slightly woozy, and only then did Louis finally let out a long, almost soundless gush of oxygen. Though it was recently pitch dark, the moon steadily rose in the sky, shining light in through the curtain-less window. In that light, Louis looked down at the arm wrapped tightly around his waist, silently praying that Harry would loosen his grasp long enough for him to get up.

This isn't a problem, he kept thinking to himself, why are you making such a big deal out of something as simple and average as sleeping with Harry while he's...

Louis felt his face burn as a blush crept up into his cheeks quickly. He let out a small impatient noise with his tongue. Why was he blushing? Why couldn't he think of Harry being... He growled, mentally slapping himself when he couldn't make out the word once again.

He had to get off this bed, and he had to get off now.

He slowly started bringing the covers off him, but his eyes shot downward in shock. Harry had began unknowingly rubbing Louis' chest. He gulped down a gasp of surprise and shivered, his face heating up once again.

Though he and Harry had indeed joked around with all types of "relationship" things, that's all they were, jokes. They were all for the enjoyment and laughter of others. But at this moment in time, Harry was not awake, and Louis felt almost uncomfortable at the fact that his best mate was rubbing on him.

Louis still couldn't figure out why he was acting this way. This was, after all, something that happened at least once a week, so why should this moment be any different from all the others?

He got part of his answer seconds later. Harry had made a small groaning noise, and his grip lessened. Louis didn't expect this, and hesitated before trying to get up. Before he so much as sat all the way up, he was tugged back down and pulled even closer then he was the first time to the sleeping guy with curly hair.

With all the movement Louis was making in an attempt to get free, he was amazed how Harry had still not waken. Harry merely done nothing else but move his head and place it directly on Louis's shoulder, laying ever so slightly on his neck.

Louis's eyes widened, and he gulped once more as his friend let out a sigh of approval, and a small snore. Harry's right hand slipped underneath his side, attaching itself to the other one, and the small tug on his stomach made him believe that he was now being hugged.

Geesh, who knew he was such a cuddler?

Louis had to stop himself from letting out a loud laugh as he imagined Harry trying to hug a big bear. The bear then went to hug Harry back, but toppled over and crushed him. He had the weirdest thoughts when he was tired, and boy was he tired. Louis's eyes began to droop.

When Harry finally got back up off the floor, the bear had left it's fur all over him, so he looked like he was hairy. Haha. Geddit? Hairy.. Harry? Haha! And then... and then carrots started falling out of the sky. They started hitting Harry on top of the head. Louis took his place in the thought. The carrots began to tumble down on his head, and he began to wave frantically. He tried to run into a dark, gloomy forest in the hope to get away.

It was scary. Eyes peared out of the shadowy branches, the sun didn't shine as bright. Loud, growls sounded from left and right. He began to panic in search of the light. Feeling his heart rate speed up, Louis started to loose hope, but then a warm gush of wind blew.

"Sleep Lou," a familiar voice whispered out of the wind. "You look terribly exhausted."

Louis's eyes opened as he felt hot breath down the side of his neck. He felt the arms holding him disappear and the weight on the bed lighten up at once, and he realized what was happening. Harry was finally awake.

He closed his eyes again and listened. Harry had seemed to be searching for something. The sounds of ruffling were easily spotted in the silence. Suddenly, ZIP!

Oh, sounds like Harry put on his pants... Fantastic!

"Lou," came a urgent whisper. "Are you awake?"

Louis, unsure whether or not he should reply, went with the most commonly used reproach, and stayed silent. He heard his friend mumble something, and the sound of ruffling sounded once again. Louis guessed that his friend was getting ready as he heard drawers fly open and the bathroom door open and close multiple times. Finally, after what seemed like hours, everything became silent again.

Louis heard shuffling near the far right of the room. Slowly, he opened up one eye to see the curly-haired bloke reaching for the bedroom door handle. He stopped instantly, his head shooting in the direction of the bed. Louis slammed his eyes shut and hoped Harry didn't see he was awake.

Silence.

Muffled footsteps made their way along the carpet floor, and Louis held his breath as he felt the bed gently sink in. He tried his best to act completely normal.

Suddenly, he felt the hot breath rise again, this time near his ear.

Just pretend you're sleeping... Just act like you've been acting... Wait, why was he acting this way? Why didn't he want Harry to know that he was awake? What the hell was going on with him?

"Pssst... Lou?" Harry gently poked his 'sleeping' friend in the shoulder. "Loooouis... I know you're not sleeping..."

Louis let out a long snore, a little to quickly, causing the younger one to let out a hardy laugh. "Nice try, Boobear. Now, open up those pretty eyes of yours before I force you too."

Louis almost opened his eyes just to shoot a glare at Harry, but huffed silently instead.

Harry let out a soft, drawn out sigh. "Well then, mate... You leave me with no other choice..."

Suddenly, Louis's eyes widened, and he started laughing. Hard. Harry had begun tickling him in the sides.

"H-hazza! S-stop!"

Louis couldn't breathe. He kept moving side to side trying to loosen his friend's grip on his sides. "HARRY! Stop! O-okay! I'm a-awake!"

Harry grinned in triumph and crossed his arms over his chest. "Good! Glad you're finally being truthful!" He began laughing, they both did. He fell over next to Louis on his bed and chortled. Finally, with his breathing going back to normal, he looked over to his still chuckling friend with a confused expression. "Now.. what are you doing in my bed?"
