Dear Mom:
He was, indeed, beautiful. His hair was styled in a quiff and had amazing caring eyes. He drew the picture in chalk, could you believe it? The details he put into the drawing left me amazed. He also wrote the colour of his hair – jet black; and the colour of his eyes – hazel, alongside the drawing. Those eyes, oh mom, the way he drew them, they shone.
I don’t think i’ll be able to sleep tonight!.
He wanted to see me, of course, but you know i’ve got zero drawing skills, so i drew a smily face and describe every part of my face so he would be able to picture me.
He told me i was beautiful, and my heart jumped in my chest. No one has said that to me before.
Do you think we look good as a couple? I think we do.
By the way, when are you coming home? You didn’t reply to my last letters… Is everything alright? And the polar bears?.
In three days is my birthday. I hope that my own mother will be able come.
Your daughter
Amy.
