Ryder's PoV

It was pitch black outside and the only thing making notices were my feet against the "water" puddles on the ground and my gang behind me.

"I-I told you that I'll have the money! See half right here, give me one more month and I'll give you the rest! One month, it's a steal of a deal! I-" I swung my bat and hit the man right in the neck killing him instantly. His body dropped on the floor with a thud.

"Dispose." Three men got to their knees and picked up the man, dragging him away. They shortly came back and we were walking to our gang shooting range.

The droplets of sweat rolled down my chest and on my abs. I grunted as I pulled the trigger, missing the moving target. "Shit." I mumbled.

I couldn't get her off my mind. She was walking home with her friend, Dana. Her hair was running wild behind her. The wind being so strong only three hours ago, her dress was lifting up in the back. Dana laughed at something Kassie wrote.

"I know right! I really hope he doesn't answer the text. I'll die of embarrassment. I wasn't even thinking straight last night." Kassie smiled, and wrote another thing down. "Hey! I'm not crazy!" She lightly slapped Kassie's arm. I growled almost coming out of my spot to attack her. How dare she touch something that's mine.

I knew it didn't hurt Kassie, and that Kassie's very strong both mentally and physically. But because she touched her. She's mine. And nobody touches what's mine. Tomorrow's the day. I can't wait any longer.

I hope she remembers me, ever since that day I've been waiting for her. It was only two years ago that I found her again.

-Flashback-

I gathered over 20 men to barge in the school. I haven't done anything in a while and I was bored. It wasn't like we were going to kill anyone, just scare them. The men opened the doors and held up their guns, ready to shoot. I walked in with a smug look on my face, I knew we were going to have an effect on the school.

"Drop the guns for now. Go to the office and be silent. I'm going to look around for any wanderers in the halls. I heard foot steps to my right. I quickly hid. I gasped. It was her. I couldn't believe it. She looked almost the same as she did as a kid. She still had the same eyes and large amount of freckles. She looked around not even noticing me. She glanced in my direction and met my eyes. She shrugged not caring and walked away. She probably thought I was a high schooler. I did the only logical thing in this situation, I followed her. She probably heard me as she sped up.  She quickly slang open a room door and walked in.

My princess.

-Flashback over-

"Alright. I'm going home, we have a big day tomorrow." I clapped. I grabbed my towel and whipped my face.

I walked into my house. I need to see her. I logged on my computer and opened some files. She was on her computer. I opened the file to her computer camera. She was sitting in her bed doing homework.

"Hey, Kassie! Where's the food?" Someone yelled, "come here! You have no food!" Kassie smiled and got off her bed and walked away. After a few minutes, she opened her door to her room and her and Dana walked in her room with a ton of food in their arms.

"So what ya looking at?" Dana said. Kassie picked up the computer and gave it to her. I minimized the camera tab and opened the file to look at her computer screen. It read, "John Cadel, 26, found dead last night." It had a picture of his dead body on the concrete floor covered with blood and bruises. Kassie flinched as she looked at the picture. "Oh lord." Dana hugged Kassie. I growled, getting jealous again. Though I would never admit it out loud.

I sighed, happy to have seen my princess. I turned off my computer and got ready for tomorrow.
