Ava's POV:
Forgiving Max was pretty hard, especially after what happened yesterday. "Hey Ava? Are you okay? Seems like your thinking too hard about something" it was Harvey "yeah I'm okay" "sure?" I nodded.
He didn't seem convinced so I just gave up "fine..." I mumbled "I'm confused" "about what?" Harv asked "about Max" "what's so confusing? You like Max, he likes you. So simple, girls just make life harder" I rolled my eyes.
"Harvey, if you're not going to help, keep your comments to yourself" "just saying!" He smiled. "Harv? What time is it?" "8:44 AM" "OMG! THE TARDY BELL IS ABOUT TO RING FOR THE SECOND CLASS!" We rushed into Maths, our second class.
"Why are y'all late?!" Mrs. James shouted "pardon us, ma'am" I said "next time is detention" Harv nodded as we sat in our seats. The rest of the class was like usual. Boring, so boring that we almost fell asleep most of the time.

"Max!!!" A girl exclaimed, then she kissed Max. "Hi! I'm Layla! Who are you?" She asked kindly. I tried to hold in my pain "Ava, I'm Max and Harvey's friend" "she's not our friend, she's our best friend" Harvey corrected, I couldn't help but smile.
Then, I remembered that Layla girl was here, she was about my height, brown eyes and light brown hair. "So? Are you and Max a thing?" Harvey asked "Yes" she quickly answered. Max looked uncomfortable "you okay, Max?" I asked "yeah" he nervously answered.
"I have to go to the library and get a book for biology" I lied, Max stood there like an idiot, Harvey nodded "Can I come with you?" Layla asked. "Umm...."
