That night I couldn’t do anything but cry.

The fact that I thought he was going to be my first kiss was stupid.

For the next month I ignored him.

Every single day.

I got early to my locker every morning, avoiding Ashton.

Luke spent time with me everyday, caring for me.

Ashton stopped trying to talk to me after two weeks.

Thank god I didn’t have any classes with him.

I still talked to Calum and Michael, they were both friendly.

I felt bad because Calum ended with Katie all of the sudden.

Taylor stopped talking to me which was great.

Taylor and Ashton were back together, woohoo.

Everytime I see them, Taylor immediately kisses Ashton.

I really don't know anymore.

“I’m going to have virgin lips forever.” I sigh, taking a fry from Luke.

“You know, I could be your first kiss, Penny.” He suggests.

Even though we knew each other for more than ten years, we never kissed.

Most cliché best friend movies, the best friend end up together.

But we were different. We were never like this.

“Really?” I try to reply but my mouth was stuffed with fries.

“Let’s be cliché for once, Penny.” He says.

As I eat, I think for a moment.

“I’ll do it.”

We were in front of my house, when I surprisingly kissed him.

He was surprised, like stunned.

His lips were soft and sweet.

When we stopped, he immediately hugged me.

“Thank you Luke. Don’t ever make this awkward for us.” I whisper against his chest.

Guess I’m not virgin lips anymore.
