NEW P.O.V (its a surprise to me too)

GIL

Right before the ceiling came down I dove out the back window as the house behind me exploded leaving only a cloud of dust behind. At that moment all I could think about was Ana. The way her eyes turn from icy to warm and soft, and the tendrils of auburn hair frame her face makes her beautiful.

She's the only person as beautiful as me, and that's a hard thing to accomplish, I mean, just glance at my face and you will be blinded by my beauty. Sorry, a bit off topic but you just can't ignore me. As I was saying I ran into the woods stumbling on tree limbs earning myself many deep gashes that trailed blood as I ran along with the wind screaming in my ears like angry banshees.

I ran until I could run no more I felt all my adrenaline I had disappear as I collapsed on a nearby log. I screamed out for Ana hoping for a reply, but none came. The one thing that made my life livable was just snatched from me just like those I lost before. I thought I wouldn't suffer more, but I was wrong, there is no end to suffering.

My existence goes against the law of human nature. Being gifted is both a gift and a curse, sometimes it's hard to tell which one. I will probably burn in hell, but at least if I open my heart to the girl I love the gates of heaven might open to me. Maybe now I have chance...

As I am pulled back into consciousness I finally remember where I am and slam my head back in frustration remember how stupid I was.

"I agree with that, you are quite stupid even by human standards," Replies a voice from the shadows.

I internally groan at the thought of another mind reader
getting inside my head.

" Well you must be down there with me, since you look human to me",I reply smirking.

"I am not human as you will see if you keep angering me", he replies.

I roll my eyes annoyed earning me a smack in the face.

" Shut up", he replies.

I spit blood and a few lost teeth at his feet.

"Gladly", I reply.

Anger blurring my vision. I glance around at my surroundings looking for a weapon, but there is nothing besides a squirrel head stuck to a crumbling wall. I squeeze my eyes shut and scream in frustration, grief, and anger until my throat is raw and dry.

I open my eyes and see the man that was once in front of me screaming at me as I was tied with ropes trembling in a heap on the cold ground.  I scream once more to see the effects of what it does and I watch as the man's skin slowly peels back from his yellow tinted bones exposing his veins to the air.

I watch in disgust as his twitching comes to a end and he lays dead at my feet. I spit blood at his dead face and kick him all over. I am so ruled by anger I don't even realize I'm free from my bonds until my feet are crunching over dead leaves as I run back into the woods.
