Hey, my name is Clyde. And as a 20 year old guy, I graduated highschool and decided to move to Massachusetts to get my education...again... I know, that must suck, but my parents want "what's best for me". "What college?", you may have not asked. Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A very smart college like Harvard or Yale. I have no idea how I got in though.
Enough with me, let's talk about the freaking neighborhood I live in. I've never seen so many lifeless houses that seemed so, well, lifeless and quite. It's almost as an abandoned neighborhood. The weird part is that hear dragging noises every night. I didn't know what it was until I was man enough to look outside to see... a girl?? She had a blank, soulless look on her face, while wearing a short, wavy, black laced dress. I'm guessing her shiny black hair is long, because in those two dutch braids of hers, they were pretty long.
*drag drag* The sound of a big, black, lumpy shaped bag. I faintly saw her drag it in the dim light of the street light. I caught myself staring at her, she was pretty, but looked depressed. I wondered why.
Her head then flipped around fast looking in my direction. I fell down fast as if you were trying to pretend you were sleeping at the last second when your parents came in to check on you. When she looked my way, she starred for a long time, until I peaked through the brown fabric curtain. She smiled big. No, it wasn't a smile, it was a smirk of a smile. Her face was saying "Help me.", but her smile said "I'm not afraid to find you."
She continued to drag the black bag into the house across the street. I know I said she was my next door neighbor, she isn't, but it felt as if we had that connection. *SCREAM* I heard it. Across the street, where she was at. I saw the side of her face, blank. She wasn't blinking, moving, anything at all. But she seemed so perfect. She was focusing her direction towards a certain thing, and not screaming. And that's when I knew, that I was scared and in love with the girl next door.
